Great Quality
My 2 1/2 year old DD received this as a Christmas present, after asking for one for months. I was going to get her one on Etsy, but a family member really wanted to get her this one. After reading the reviews, and handling this jacket, I'm glad we got this one. From a visual standpoint, it looks just like the rock star jackets that the Fresh Beat Band wear. When my DD opened the package, her eyes got huge, and she loudly announced that it was her rock star jacket! She immediately put it on, and wears it every time she watches the Fresh Beat Band. She is currently in a 3T, so I asked that she receive a 4T. It's slightly big, but very much wearable as long as I cuff the sleeves for her. I was really impressed with the way the jacket was packaged. It was wrapped in tissue paper and had paper around the zipper (very similar to how designer purses are wrapped in the store). The jacket itself is lightweight, good for Spring/Fall, and very well made. I want to say that I'm as impressed as my daughter, but I doubt it. She really loves her rock star jacket.

Almost perfect, only one thing I would change
There are enough reviews stating their children's excitement for The Fresh Beat Band, and excitement over these jackets, and that is pretty much a given.Availability: We have been to 4 FBB concerts in the past 12 months. At the first 3 concerts, the merchandise stands didn't even offer jackets for sale. It wasn't until 2014 that they had some (different from the ones offered here, more about that later).Last year backstage, I saw some boys wearing nice quality jackets (I could tell they weren't home-made etsy ones). I asked the mom where she got them (since I had looked everywhere)... long story short, the boys were "Shout's" cousins and they bought them before they sold out from the website. She bought them way before the tour began because I had looked before the tour and they were already sold out (and they never made any more last year).Quality: At the last concert (2014), they sold jackets, but they were low quality. The patch on the back was an iron-on (not sewn on) the fabric was not leather-like, it was thin and shiny (almost like polyester-satin)- terrible for a jacket!!I purchased 2 jackets from this site. I was afraid they wouldn't be like the actual photo, and would be the ones we saw at the concert, I am so happy they weren't!They are patent leather, but feel nice and soft and supple. The patches are sewn on and thick. The hardware is nice too. I am so glad they made more of these, and that I was able to get 2 for my kiddos and for a great price too!Fit: They seem to fit TRUE to street size (clothes). I would not recommend reading the confusing size chart, I recommend just ordering the size that you would normally buy. If your child is in-between sizes, or on the cusp of moving up a size, I recommend ordering the next size up so that your child will have room to grow.I see a lot of questions posted regarding which size to buy (so here are a few more details):My daughter is 2 1/2 yrs (almost ready for a 3T in clothes but not quite) I purchased her a 3T and it hangs perfect (a little room to grow without looking overly big or sloppy). My son who is a tall 5 1/2 yr old (wears 6 slim, on the cusp of 7) I ordered the 7/8 and he has a lot of room, but because this is a jacket (not a shirt) it doesn't look sloppy.Keep in mind that with jackets: too small looks terrible and is uncomfortable, so a little extra room looks good and gives them room to grow (at these young ages, children are growing a TON in one year). The only thing I would change: I don't want to get too nit-picky, but if I could change one thing... I definitely think it would be great if they offered ones similar to the ones the band wears: with sequin stars on the back and front in the colors for each character. For that matter, I think they could offer much more FBB merchandise (costumes, toys, etc). Maybe one day their brand manager will realize that they have a great audience for that!Bottom line: My kiddos are happy, and they have cool jackets! I am happy since they are nice quality, fit well, and should last a while! The kids told me we need to go to another concert so they can show the FBB their new Rockstar Jackets, hehe! A fifth concert might qualify us as groupies!

Great deal!!!
I bought my son a custom made jacket from Etsy with a Shout star before these became available from Nick Jr. And then I bought my 5 year old daughter this Rock Star jacket. This was $25 cheaper than the Etsy one, and much nicer! We went to a concert in November and SO MANY people asked where she had gotten her jacket! She wears a size 5/6 in clothes so I ordered a 7/8 just to make sure it lasts a while since it's pretty pricey. The jacket fit her as expected, not huge and hanging off of her, but still a little big, so I am guessing the 7/8 size is very accurate to size. The lining is very think and nice and she LOVED the pockets! The one disappointment with this jacket is that the front star is yellow and that the back just says Fresh Beat Band, she would have preferred a Rock Star jacket with Kiki's pink and aqua colors. But overall, I am very pleased and regret not buying a smaller one for my son as well!

Very good quality!
I bought my youngest a Fresh Beat jacket at their concert, but they didnt have my oldest size so I told her I would order one online. I ordered this one for her and the difference is substantial. This jacket has much superior quality than the one I purchased at the concert and was $15 cheaper thanks to a promo code! This jacket is much heavier / leather like material and well made and a sturdy zipper. My daughter had to get used to the part that snaps around the neck (different from the concert jacket) but it doesnt bothet her now.The one I purchased at the show is very thin, flimsy, frays at the seems quickly and the zipper doesn't stay connected.

My 2.5 year old LOVES her Rock Star Jacket!
My daughter has loved the Fresh Beat Band since she was a year old, so when the Rock Star Jacket went on sale, I knew she would love it. It is high quality, fits perfectly (I wish they sold sizes larger than a 4T, however), and is really an attractive jacket. She wore it to an amusement park recently on a cool August afternoon, and it kept her warm. It also attracted a lot of attention from other Fresh Beat kids. She's very proud to have her own Rock Star jacket and shows it off to everyone. Can't wait for her to wear it to the FBB concert in October.Great jacket - highly recommend it!

Too big
The Jacket is too big. Wish it came with different colored stars or it had the characters on the jacket.
