Great for the small job.
Works for the tight space and delicate tooling.

I got this hammer to use with my metal stamps, when working with metal, so the hammer doesn't damage my stamps.

Effectiveness
Works quite well. It seems to work well but it could be the stencil set is inadequate.

Could be better.
It's got the weight. But it's kinda lost without a longer handle? It's cumbersome and gimpish feeling being so short. The weight allows a decent hit. But add 5 inches to the handle and you could get a better impression in one strike.

Perfect size! Perfect price!
Compared to craft stores I have looked at, this was a GREAT purchase! I was able to use it the day it came in! It is a great all-around hammer, but I am using it specifically to stamp stainless steel. The handle is the PERFECT size for my tiny body, too.

Good but not great
I bought this hammer when I started jewelry stamping! It gets the job done, however it isn’t very heavy. As a result, impressions don’t come out very deep unless you really slam the stamps which results in movement of the stamp and damage to the hammer. Being that it is made of soft metal and not stainless steel, it gets dinged up every time you use it.

Thanks
Been hammering letter stamps. The head is getting a little dented up. That's probably to be expected as it's made of brass which is softer than the steel I'm smacking.

Great for stamping medal
I really have enjoyed using my new hammer. It’s easier to stamp metal with this rather than a regular hammer. It seems to be well made and is easy to hold. I am able to get a good even stamp. I’m sure I’ll have it a long time.
