Honest Review
This product was better than I expected. The price was cheap for a 3-pack, so I expected to get a cheap product, but that was not the case.I bought these straps so that I could wear my sunglasses on roller coasters at Cedar Point. For those of you familiar with Cedar Point, they have some extremely aggressive rides, with flips, high speeds, and tons of G-force. The product claims to be for extreme sports, so I thought that would be a perfect test. I bought some cheap sunglasses just in case they didn't work, but I now know that wasn't necessary. They are incredibly easy to attach to your glasses, you just slip them over the earpiece of your glasses, and some sort of magic keeps them from coming off. Although, if you really want them to come off, it isn't difficult if you try. Then there are two adjustable thingamabobbers that you slide in opposite directions and the straps will tighten. How tight you might ask? I didn't want to lose my sunglasses so I tightened them so hard that there were imprints on my nose and face. Those glasses were definitely not coming off. And at no point during any of the theme park rides did i feel like they would slip off, so I could imagine that any extreme sport you might engage in couldn't remove your glasses either. Also, you can loosen the straps and hang your glasses around your neck, instead of putting them on your head and smudging up the lenses.Of course I hate to end with some minor criticisms, but I feel as if people should be informed before making a purchase. These straps are not meant for children. They will keep them from completely falling off a child's head, but they will not keep them firmly on a child's face. I had a lanky 12 year old with me on my trip and the straps were tightened all the way, and were just slightly not tight enough. But nowhere does the product claim to be for children. Perhaps a children's version would be a good idea if you don't already have one. Also, if you have a tiny wire frame for your glasses that extend all the way to the earpiece, the straps won't attach to the ends. This isn't a huge deal because who wears thin wire frames when engaging in extreme sports? In conclusion, these straps were overall a worthwhile purchase for myself. They aren't meant for small heads, nor are they meant for thin wire frames, but for adults who do not want their glasses coming off under any circumstances, these are an excellent purchase that can easily be removed when they are not being used.Bravo, Sidelinx!

Won't hold onto glasses
Other reviews mentioned that there was some sort of magic that prevented the glasses from disconnecting from the strap. There is no magic. It is unclear what if anything a weird ball down in the end of the attachment is meant to do. It does not clip on. It is not magnetic. It does not crimp or catch the end. These will hold my glasses on for about ten minutes, and then if I'm making any motion with my head that will put force on them, the strap falls right off.ETA: ok, so I just had to find some frames that were more suitable for these. You can't have narrow ear pieces. The wider the better. These will stretch over and hold onto them very successfully. Clearly it isn't a universal product, but it works perfectly well with fat frame ear pieces.

Comfortably keeps glasses secure
Overall, I'm satisfied with the adjustable straps. They securely and comfortably hold your glasses in place during most activities (e.g., running, hiking, beach volleyball, skiing, snow shoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing). My only complaint (and it's minor) is that, if you keep the straps on the glasses when you store them in hard case, the straps aren't flexible enough to easily and neatly store in the hard case. The straps will stick out even when you draw them to tightest (i.e., shortest) length unless you have a pretty wide/roomy glass case. It's an inconvenience to take the straps off then on to store then use.I'd also like to point out that the seller, Sidelinx, delivered my ordered straps on time. I would consider Sidelinx a trustworthy seller and would recommend purchasing their products.

50/50
I purchased them thinking that they were able to dangle down I was not using them. They are really firm wire to hold the glasses in place against your face so they don't fall off. They do not really fasten snuggly and come loose very easily. that is not really an issue for me because I'm not using them for some kind of extreme sporting activity. This is what you're looking for they are a good value because you get three of them whereas other salaries provide you one for the same price

Works well but the sliders seem to become very sticky over time.
The product is easy to install on the glasses and easy to adjust. It has however one problem - over time the sliders become very sticky and hard to adjust. I have tried soapy water as well as alcohol and neither seems to be able to eliminate this problem. That is probably why they come 3 to a package which helps the cost part of the problem but changing the strap out can be more difficult than first putting it on. This is a real nuisance and it would be nice if there was some workable cleaning method. This problem is particularly bad if you have progressive lenses that must be set to a particular position rather than just something to keep the glasses from falling off.

These are amazing! So HAPPY!
These adjustable retainers for my eyeglasses are exactly what I need. I was constantly, mostly without even thinking about it, pushing my eyeglasses back up my nose. NOT ANYMORE! These eyeglass retainers keep my glasses exactly where I park them and I'm finding that I need to stop and clean my glasses less often as well. I have a medical problem causes me to perspire easily and I'm not getting a lens full of sweat at just the wrong time anymore as well. I love these things.

Some Good Features, Some Not So Good
These are very lightweight, easy to attach, secure, and best of all, easily adjustable. The main problem with them, which will keep me looking for better ones, is the strap itself are wires, and firm wires. So, if I adjust the size while wearing them, make them fairly snug, my glasses scratch my forehead coming off (I guess if your forehead completely recedes inward, not an issue). If I make them even slightly looser, which still keeps them secure, if the back of my head rests against anything, like the sofa or my headrest in the car, because the strap are wires, the wires push the glasses forward and down my nose and I can't see. So I find myself trying to avoid laying my head back against everything - not something I want to be thinking about nor always avoid.Still on the search for better.
