Great feel, HORRIBLE zipper, just does not work! Returning

Being cashmere and wool, the instructions say to hand wash it and dry it flat. I don't hand wash clothes, so I put this sweater in the washing machine. I washed it on the delicate cycle, with cold water. I dried it in the dryer for about an hour on air with no heat. It came out very well, looking -- I think -- better than before it was washed. It didn't lose much lint in the dryer but got a softer look to it. No problem for me machine washing it this way. The sweater stood up to machine washing just fine.The knit is very fine, so it looks more like a sweatshirt knit than a typical sweater knit. It's soft and warm. Thin material, but it really doesn't take much for this combination of cashmere and wool to keep you warm, so a bulky knit really isn't needed.It's not a pull-over, as the description says. It unzips completely with a dual zipper so you can zip it up, and pull the bottom zipper up if you want in open a bit at the hem.The sleeve are very long, giving good coverage. I could wish the sweater itself was a little longer, it's about belt length.The fit was a little snug, so I'd go up a size.

The medium size measurements (with the size the correspond to on standard size charts):Shoulders: 17" (S-M)Chest: 42" (M-L)Waist: 35" (L, and stretches out a lot)Sleeve: 34" (M)Front length: 25" (S)The description recommends sizing up, but the fabric is very stretchy, so the main place where size might be an issue is the length, which is a little on the short side for the size.The fabric is nice and soft, thin but feels substantial.The hand pockets are ample and lined inside with the same fabric as the outside.Has a double-zipper, so you can open it from the bottom.Hand wash gently with like colors, non-chlorine bleach if needed, lay flat to dry, cool iron if needed, can dry clean.Made in China.

The Cashmeren Men's tightly knit sweater is made with 30% cashmere and 70% wool. This sweater is unique compared to other wool dominate cashmere blends because it is ultra soft. The Cashmeren men's sweater in the color navy is a regal looking sweater that is both soft and comfortable. It is thick and has an upscale look and feel. My husband is 6'2 at around 175 pounds with a slender build and usually wears a medium. I sized up to a large and am glad I did or the sweater would not have fit his arms or torso properly. I love the thick material and look of the sweater on him. It is a classy casual sweater that is appropriate for intimate settings with friends and family. This would make a very nice gift item because of the higher-quality material. The care instructions are somewhat difficult because it requires a hand wash on machine cycle or actual hand wash. It also needs to be laid flat to dry and with the dense material it takes time to dry. Dry cleaning is also an option for this sweater.

This is a soft casual sweater that looks good over a collarless shirt but not so good over one with an open collar. It's too tall in the back for a collar to lay over it. Also the zipper on mine was a problem. It's rough at best and is the kind that once zipped up can be unzipped from either top or bottom. Unfortunately I opened mine at the get go and had the longest time trying to get it together again. I hope mine was defective. If I had bought this at a store or on Amazon I would have returned it. As is I'll never fully open it again. .

Probably the only things I like are a good fit & the feel of the fabric.It is too thin for late fall, & what it really looks like on me is a jogging outfit rather than a sweater. The Hand Wash requirement is stated, so while I despise that, I can't down grade the "sweater" for that. Today I wore it over an average thickness t-shirt & I froze in 52 degree weather; this really is a warm weather item.Interesting zipper; it has hooks & zipper pieces at both the top & bottom! As it's a pullover, I didn't need to play with that; I've just never seen it before.I would like to give it a higher rating due to the feel of the fabric, but due to the appearance (It really does not look like a sweater), lack of warmth, & hand wash only 3 stars feels generous.

Nice sweater. 70% Merino Wool 30% Mongolian Cashmere, so it’s soft and warm. It’s a very smooth knit and feels a touch fragile, so I’ll be careful with it. Handwash only and dry flat. I worry a little about that because I’m not crazy about handwashing. Good, long sleeves with ribbing at the wrists. A sturdy, metal zipper that works. Don’t know why it has a zipper pull at top and bottom because it would look really silly unzipped from the bottom. Substantial pockets that don’t add bulk.

This is a good-looking sweater with the added comfort feature of a two-way zipper (silver toned). Only the pulls on the zipper are visible, so the overall look could be dressy, depending on what you pair it with.The medium fit my partner perfectly, so I'd say fit-wise it's true to size.It's a lightweight blend of wool and cashmere, so is is more suited to wear indoors, or outdoors in the fall. Put another way, this isn't a garment you'd wear skiing or out for a winter walk.The feature he likes best is the softness, because this makes the sweater extra comfortable. (The cashmere gives it that soft. luxurious feel.)All in all, a very nice sweater!
