So you're looking for a keyboard case right now, and if you're like me you might have been getting frustrated at some point. So many options/reviews to read through and with choice comes indecision. I'll try to keep the review short and concise as possible, answering all the questions I had when I was shopping around.So much like you right now, my searches brought me here. I was skeptical at first so I read through about 10 different reviews. Most of them were the same although what worried me was the fact that they mentioned the lifetime of some of their keys was laughably short.I decided on faith to buy this keyboard case, appreciative of the look, backlighting and apple Pencil holder.What I didn't expect is for the stand to be as sturdy as it is. It magnetically locks to itself when it is in it's fully extended position, with a satisfying click and then easily holds the weight of my 2018 iPad. It offers a decent viewing angle once it is utilized.The back lighting is bright enough to work in absolute darkness. The one thing I wish was there was a level of opacity in the actual lettering of the keyboard, adding to the value backlighting brings. The backlighting here is akin to ground effects on show cars. Still very effective and very necessary for those of us who use our devices at night.Let's talk about response times. This keyboard lacks a smart connector, which could and would be a deal breaker if you're using an iPad pro. However, it's Bluetooth functionality is powerful and responsive, with latency being milliseconds away from actuation to result.It's shortcuts I find to be very pleasing and intuitive, like using the function key coupled with the "home" key which mirrors the look of the old iPhone/iPad/iPod home button symbol, the square. You can actually unlock the device using said button combination, then use the number keys to enter your pin. It's nice when it keeps the work on the keyboard instead of having to lift your hands to use the touch functionality of the iPad itself.If you have an apple pencil, than you know how harrowing the idea of losing it can be. At $100, it's not exactly easily replaced. This brings us to the slot in the case for this specific reason. It's a snug fit, you can leave it in with confidence. I even lifted it and turned it upside down and patted it to make sure it didn't fall out. I was relieved to see it stayed firmly in place. There's even two cut outs that fit the charger cover of the pencil, though it doesn't seem to be as secure a fit as the pencil holder itself. Still, being that it is small it's a welcome cutout. I can't imagine losing the cover and always having the lightning port showing, that would be pretty unsightly for such a aesthetically pleasing device.That being said, what no user guide brought up was the cut out left in the backside of the pencil holder for easy removal. This may not be as obvious to everyone who uses this, considering it is behind the fabric that connects the two halves together. Without using it, there's not really any way to get the pencil out.All in all, I'm comfortable with this purchase and feel as if it is a quality build. I'm looking forward to getting work done on my iPad now that it is essentially a slim form factor laptop. Rest assured that it is well worth the money. Although I can't do a direct comparison, I'm willing to bet it performs just as well as the name brand ones that everyone seems to suggest elsewhere on the internet.

I just rec'd it. I love it. Should have ordered with lit keyboard. Can't use it in bed with low light. Hate to return and have to wait on next one. Going on a trip in a couple of days. So far so good. It was very easy to pair. Perfect stand position.

I purchased this case for my son since he’s off to college and I must say he really enjoys the case. The keyboard is very good has nice key travel and solid connection when you type. The Apple Pencil holder is a very nice bonus but I do find it hard to get the pencil out the holder. But other than that, this was a great buy and I recommend to anyone looking for a keyboard for the new iPad.

If you want something simple, practical, and for a good price; this is the choice to go with.The cover is very comfortable to hold and protects the iPad very well. The magnet that turns the screen off may not fit as perfectly as an Apple cover, but you'll get used to it pretty quick.The keys feel very natural and easy to type with even for larger or longer fingers.Best of all, is the adjustable viewing position. It may not seem like the keyboard cover would be able to support the iPad in different angles but it does work.

I tried this case vs the $99 Logitech Folio case.The Folio was much heavier, bulkier, and didn't have a good no-keyboard handheld configuration.This Bosewek case is lighter, works well hand-held, has a solid keyboard, and does everything I need.My only complaint is that not all of the function keys work as expected, and there's no escape key. I'm not sure if that's a limitation with these keyboards in general, or whether it's specific to this Bosewek case, so I'm leaving it at 5 stars regardless. Great stuff.

Works great, only drawback is the keyboard doesn't detach and a minor quip would be the small flap to secure it shut doesn't stick to itself when folded backwards for using just the iPad screen while walking, etc.The colors are great, different brightness settings, and doesn't seem to drain battery too much since it has an auto-off feature after a couple mins of not using the keyboard. Great for trying to watch a movie or something similar since you won't have to bother hitting another button just to turn the keyboard off after you set it down.Pencil holder is perfect for the Apple Pencil, slightly longer so you can place it in either direction. Push up from under the bottom to easily pop the pencil out when needing it. Really no complaints from me or my wife on this one...I've started forgetting I'm even using an iPad when doing things online or editing photos...keep looking for an ESC key and realizing the iPad doesn't use one lol. Highly recommended over Bridge which is nicer, but not twice the price nicer and doesn't protect the actual iPad back.

Very nice case. Well built! Love it, the only drawback is the keyboard DOES NOT come off! Just know that going into buying it. So it is a little heavier and you have to get used to a keyboard being exposed all the time. Other than that the keyboard is great!
