This is my second light. The first one worked great this one vibrates then i just seen the fan wasnt working and because you cant contact anyone once you buy these. I had to open it up myself and fixed the one fan it was hiting the top of the unit so it wouldnt spin,then i look at the other one its got a fan blade missing and it wasnt inside the unit so its clearly was opened up on a return or it was put in from factory broken. So the missing fan is mostly why it vibrates... So will i buy again not sure if the units are being poorly made then they mostly wont last to long. Ive got a stack started of burned out lights all with in a years time...I like the light but not so much the makers at this point and someone owes me a FAN REPLACEMENT...that is if they want me as a customer anymore..

My old grow-light was just about kaputz so I decided to look around and see what was available and was shocked to see how much they had gone up in cost since I had bought my old one (which I had had for almost 15 years and was only just starting to have some issues). Then I discovered this model and was very impressed with the quality and the innovation in this product.I use this light as an aquarium light for a 100-gallon fish aquarium which is heavily planted and needs more of the kind of light a grow light produces for the health of my plants. It is easy to raise and lower to change the intensity of the light and the addition of a frosted plexiglass panel gives me additional control over the light's intensity (I discovered after dealing with the HUGE algae bloom which occurred after using the light for a couple of weeks and finding it was just a bit too strong. Being able to control the height and the intensity of the light is perfect for our tank and it has never looked better!This light has not one but two fans which are so quiet you wouldn't even know they were on. It is also very well constructed and sturdy and will surely last for years to come. The only improvement I would make would be to add a dimmer. I was unable to install an external dimmer because when dimmed down it also slowed the speed of the fans and I was concerned about overheating which is when I discovered I could use a plexiglass sheet sprayed with a frosted paint which lowers the intensity of the light while still providing the kind of light needed by the plants. The amazing thing about this light is the price. Other lamps of this quality are three times the price or more. I would highly recommend this lamp to anyone who needs it for their plants in or out of the water.

The first thing that I noticed when I plugged this light in is that it intermittently flickers at a high frequency. It's subtle, but it reminds me of looking at a monitor with a low refresh rate. To me, this indicates that the internal components are definitely on the cheaper side.When you read the manual, you notice immediately that there's a lot of spelling and syntax errors. For example, "which kind of plants suit for" was one of the main headings under the frequently asked questions section. Yes, I get the gist, but it doesn't make me feel very confident about the quality of the product.Additionally, under the "Attention" section, there's a statement that says, "stop using the light when fans are off". That makes me wonder, are the fans supposed to shut off? Do I have to worry about a fire? The manual does not elaborate. I need this product to be reliable as I will be using it on an automatic timer and it will be unattended at times.Fan noise: yes. If the light is on, the fans are on. I can hear them from the other room that's about 40 feet away. It would've been nice if the fans were linked to an internal thermostat that turned them on only when the light got warm enough. Another cost saving measure I suppose. Another thing that I noticed is that the fans (mounted on top of the unit) blow down. Being that heat rises, I would've figured that it'd make more sense for the fans to blow upwards, creating a negative pressure in the unit and drawing in cool air from all of the slots/vents on the side. Regardless of the fan push/pull situation, I'm sure its current configuration will at least be functional.Time will tell if this product will do its job. But for now, I am left feeling like this is a $30 light at a $90 price tag. That said, most of the LED grow lights on amazon were almost identical to this design. I imagine they're all essentially the same light with just a different brand name.

So after seeing the spectrum for this light I was curious and ordered 2 seeing how my current setup has very little green, blue and yellow light. Saw these for fairly cheap and got 2. Needless to say the seedlings love them. I've got 1 on one set and a 1000 watt King Led on the other group. An not much has happened in first 48 but will keep updating as usage continues. For now though I'm pleased with durablity and light output. Even got pulleys with it to hang it right out the box.**UPDATE** 1/16/19I have nothing but good things to say about this light. So as I had stated I was using these 2 I purchased for some seedlings that just had started maybe 2 weeks from germination if that. Well I have kept these going on a 20/4 light cycle and have had GREAT RESULTS plants are vegging NICELY and are staying good and tight with a crazy amount of nodes bushing out from every direction possible. I will definitely be looking to order more from this Seller bcuz so far I've seen nothing but Great Results, Superb Durable Quality and am Very Satisfied I went with these particular lights and this particular spectrum they produce.Will update again before switching to Flowering mode . 💪💪👍👍👌👌🌲🌲🌲🍀🍀🍀🍀
