I ordered a discontinued yarn to complete a project, and amazingly enough, it's the same dye lot as the yarn I originally purchased ages ago from a yarn shop almost 800 miles away from the seller. I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the nice packing job and speedy delivery, too.

Unevenly spun
Yarn spun seemed uneven, like thin in some parts and a bit looser and thick in others. Not a big deal, I'm making a shawl so it won't look too bad

Exactly as it should be
Exactly what I expected...a hank of yarn. This particular yarn does vary in thickness from fingering (maybe smaller) to worsted. I’m knitting a hat and doubling the yarn to lessen the variation in thickness.

Beautiful Yarn - is like handspun
I've seen a few reviews rating this yarn down and wanted to upload a review with my thoughts and some photos so that folks know exactly what they're buying, and as a result, will be more pleased. This is a great yarn. it's an Alpaca 60% and Merino Wool 40% blend, this makes this INSANELY soft. Definitely comfortable for next to skin comfort, and it isn't itchy. Photos show the yarn both loose and knitted.- This comes in a hank, so you will need to wind it into a ball or center pull ball so that it doesn't tangle when using. This is standard for hanks.- This is very much like a thick & thin handspun yarn. It has variances in thickness, but once knitted several rows everything evens out. You can use a size or two smaller needle if you prefer. This calls for a size 6 needle and I used a size 5.- Yarn is self striping, which is great for any use. Stripes will be thick for small things like hats, and things like shawls may have short stripes or non at all depending on the width.- This is single ply and roving style - my personal favoriteYou get a generous 328 yards in this 100 gram hank. I made 1 hat and have quite a bit left. You could probably get several hats from 1 hank depending on the length, or do a small shawl or large scarf on a single hank. You could also double the yarn over if you want thicker yarn, or one that is more consistent in thickness due to the thick/thin quality.

Showed up battered and not usable.
Pretty yarn but showed up late and battered... had to rewind before I use. :( Also some of the strands are nice and thick as described, and then it thins out like quilting thread. It is so bad that I can’t use it for my intended project and will try to return. Very disappointing.
