Worked like a charm, but be sure to use both ends
TL;DR follow the instructionsWorked perfectly to remove some very stubborn hex bolts that I had completely rounded. Pretty sure they'd been in place for 30 years, possibly loctited as well. Anyway, first thing I did was think "I've rounded the hexes, so I don't need to drill out first", and just used the extraction end. This produced a lot of swarf and nothing else. I despaired, and started using the other end to actually drill out the whole head. I got a little way and then tried the extraction end on the basis that it couldn't hurt... and hey presto, out came the bolt! Highly recommended - they don't come with instructions but they are on the listing

Utter rubbish - worth 0 stars
I have tried these on half a dozen occasions, even on a brand new screw that I ruined to try and practice on. Just does not work at all, despite following the instructions to the letter

Patience!
Some reviewers have trashed this product and there seems to be some dispute as to which direction to set the drill. After studying the drill sections it seemed to me to be counterclockwise. I tried with the smallest one first and got no results, had a good swear, and tried the next largest. The screw came out immediately with no problem, without turning the tool around! Patience!

Got me out of a hole
Was dubious with the price point, needed to remove a rounded off screw from bottom of a laptop, torx T5 screw so very small. Smallest bit worked straight away. Very happy!

A waste of time
The good point is the extractor set arrived on time, the bad point is it doesn’t work. Despite repeated attempts to remove the screws, following the instructions, with this extractor set the screws are still in place.

Brilliant, worked perfectly.
I had some M2.5 countersink socket head (Allen) bolts that held a steering wheel on to a classic car. Someone had tightened them and used threadlock so the sockets rounded straight away even using a quality Allen key. One of these removed them in seconds, didn't need to drill a hole, just set a drill on slow speed reverse and they bit and unscrewed the bolts no hassle.
