These carbide grinding bits eat metal like you can't believe. They'll last a long time if you treat them right. I use them steel and bronze to clean up welds. Doing the inside of a small hole is the only time I have ruined these bits quickly. If you're pressing hard and the bit jumps from one side of the hole to the other, then the shaft can bend. When that happens, you notice a bad vibration, and your bit is kaput. Time to get a new one. My advice is to take metal down slowly and lightly, if possible. I would not buy anything but a carbide bit. The ones you get from Harbor Freight are garbage. I keep several of these on hand just because they're so awesome and sometimes I absolutely need them because nothing else will do.

I bought this to remove the thread and "smooth-out" the nozzle of my homemade propane forge burners. It worked great for this and took no damage, maintaining its sharpness throughout. Unfortunately, the modification to the burner nozzle made the gas burn less cleanly, not more so. No fault of the tool, obviously!

These burr bits are decent for how inexpensive they are. I would buy them again if i loose or break them.

This bit is doing a good job for me. I am using it in my die grinder when making large metal art and it seems to be a great purchase. The bit arrived quickly after I ordered it.

Very sharp and tough carbide cutting heads for a dremel type tool. These are VERY SHARP and tough!Very good price for these outstanding cutting tools!

Use them all the time and forgot them on one install, so these are replacements. They are great for woodworking. I use them to curve crown on cabinets we install.
