Did not look like the original, but fit perfectly. The retaining clip that came with it was flimsy, so just used the original one. Over all great purchase, would definitely buy again. Thank you for having this product for an affordable price

Great match for a 2001 Tacoma TRD
This strainer/filter was a great fit for my 2001 Tacoma double cab TRD. It was slightly different than my factory original. But being slightly larger I was happy with. Hopefully I can get another 300K out of this new one like I did with the OEM. No issues installing once the tank was lowered and fuel pump was removed.

Fuel Filter/Strainer Upgrade
I ordered an electric fuel pump (in-tank) for my Jeep Cherokee, and noted that the filter which came with it was only a single meshunit, with an odd "T-shaped footprint" in the tank, interfering with the sending unit's float gauge arm operation. I located the Delphi unitthat also fit my application and ordered it. This Delphi Fuel Pump Strainer is of very high quality construction, with multiple layers ofmesh and an interior structure to prevent filter "collapse", as my old one did when contaminants loaded it up! I installed it with thenew fuel pump after a thorough tank rehab, and it works excellent!
