Good for relative setting use
The vernier adjustments are really only good for relative measurement use. They are not really marked well for absolute measurement usage. Acceptable for setting up planer blades

Number scales are useless
I thought the number scales were in millimeters or thousandths, but are neither. I used on a Delta planer and to be useful first clamp on round planer blade shaft and zero both of them with setscrew and knob. Then use feeler gauge to adjust to desired depth and lock in place. You can then match the setting with other unit matching the gauge numbers. They are OK for a "relative value" but having nothing to do with the actual distance. Would I buy again? Ya, probably, if they are considerably cheaper than the setting gauge made for my planer.

Set one side and match the other.
They hold the blades for setup very well. The scale is a piece of tape that I do not trust. So I set one side and adjusted the other side to match and locked them in. Not a high quality person tool but it will work for.intended purpose.

Perfect alignment of my planer blades
Took a little bit to figure out how to use them, but they did what they're supposed too. My blades are set and parallel.

The jig could have been better with design changes that would cost little money.
The jig could be much better if height adjusting screw had fine threads with tighter tolerance fit.Having to loosen the top knurled knob Philips head screw to zero the graduated cylinder is annoying . It would be better if it were friction fit knurled knob to zero instead of loosing the screw. The instructions with the jig should say what graduations units on the side of the height are per graduation. Determined it is 0.00304 inch or 0.0772 mm per graduation after some work with gauge blocks. The adds say it is a "vernier" however by definition it is not a vernier. The cylinder is stenciled 0.15 (mm is assumed) for two graduations but not an exact match to two graduations. May not be a big issue in actual use. The magnet that holds the blade should not rotate as the height is adjusted, as it rotates now. It is a usable jig requiring some learning to use it to the best advantage. Could be designed better.

Takes a little to figure out but they work great.
The gauge on them is worthless. The way I got mine to be even and to be the right depth was to place the jig on the cutter head in a place where there were no knives or anything and then I used a feeler gauge to set the plungers at the same correct height (50 thousands for my 20" delta planner). After that I locked them in place and used them as you would expect. Worked perfect. Easy to use. 10/10 I would recommend.

Sloppy Manufacturing, Good Idea
I wish these had been made a little better, .i.e., more accurately. The idea is good, and in practice these do work, though somewhat awkwardly. The problem is in the cheap cast parts; the two pieces did not agree with each other and it was hard to line them up because one magnet was not flush with the plastic arm.I suppose a few sets will be perfect and other sets will have some kind of error, but if this is supposed to be a precision calibration tool, it just ain't happening.Good enough to get you in the ballpark, but far from precise.

One little problem
I ran into one little problem and it was my fault as the cutting blade holder on my jointer is aluminum and the magnets will not work, but a found a work-around to this little problem. To anyone looking to buy a set of the adjustable magnetic planer jointer knife blade setter to to check if the jointer head is aluminum or metal for the magnets to work before you order a set.

Nice little tool.
It seemed a little flimsy but it did the trick to set my planer blades. Would certaintly order it again.
