Like any red-blooded man I enjoy a healthy bit of sporting action. Most Saturdays you can find me on the terraces bellowing obscenities at the referee for allowing young men to be off-side. I loved the Olympics and was proud to be British when we won gold in the indoor parachuting, dog throwing, colouring in and pillow fluffing. Like billions of others I was exposed to sports I never knew existed, like dancing horses, copper wire twisting and gymnastics.Now this last one brings me to why I write this review. Over the Summer I became fascinated with, nay, obsessed with gymnastics. I would watch every turn and twist of those lithe, firm bodies of the competitors. Examining each and every movement of those supple young bodies. Mrs Manners would sometimes catch me at three in the morning sitting in my underwear watching video recordings of gymnasts, surrounded by mounds of tissues. I told her it was too hot to wear my clothes, being summer, and the tissue was for me to record the scores upon.Anyway, to cut a long story short, I chanced upon this tome and was delighted that it fulfilled all my viewers needs, by not only showing the grace and beauty of gymnasts, but with no clothes on! I am fairly certain that this is the way they do their rehearsals, only donning clothes for the competitions as the judges don't like the sight of bare bums.As it is, this book filled a gap that had existed in my life and now Mrs Manners is only puzzled as to why I spend so much time in the bathroom.
