YES IT IS THINNER than Reynolds Wrap
...and that's part of why it's a greener product: you'll consume less foil than if you were using Reynolds Wrap. I don't need thick foil, and you may not either: it's just that we've been trained since childhood to believe thick foil is "normal." Don't let a giant multinational company push you around by telling you what aluminum foil should be. If You Care 100% Recycled Aluminum Foil has gotten a bad wrap (excuse the pun). I use it mostly for covering savory dishes in the oven, and have never once had a problem with this brand. And no, I don't work for the company or its affiliates, I work in the Health Sciences field (read some of my older reviews if you don't believe me). I suspect the negative reviews are often written by (choose one or more of the following) people who: 🙊 Do a lot of grilling (admittedly, Reynolds Wrap may be better for some purposes due to its thickness). 🙈 Are employed by and/or own stock in the giant multinational corporation Alcoa, the parent company of Reynolds Wrap. It's always good to trash the competition online. 🙉 Hate green products because hippies use them, and (despite near consensus among the world's scientists) *still* believe climate change is a hoax (lucky for them, If You Care 100% Recycled Aluminum Foil is great for making tin foil hats). If you don't hate the planet but do hate the If You Care brand, you can buy "Reynolds Wrap Foil from 100% Recycled Aluminum" (which reportedly is as thick as their regular variety). I support the If You Care brand because [1] it works for me despite being greener, and [2] *all* of the company's products are greener.

Good, clean option!
If I’m going to use aluminum foil I do want it to be health cautious and clean. Love this brand!

Good recycled foil but very thin
This is a good quality recycled foil. The box is solid in nature, and it is fully recycled, which is what we were looking for. There are only two negatives to the foil. First, it is very thin in nature. It tears easily, and it is usually only good enough for one use. Since that is mostly what we use it for, this has not been a problem for us, but I wanted to point it out. Second, because it is thin, it tears unevenly from the roll when you are first using it. Again, this is more of an aggravation than a real problem. Overall, we have been pleased with the product despite its limitations, and we have reordered it on Subscribe and Save.

IT IS VERY EASY TO OPEN....If you care about where EARTH IS HEADED...perhaps switch to more Earth-conscious products.
This to me seems like regular foil suitable for regular cooking, and it is fully constructed with recycled material. The RECYCLED construction of this foil is the MOST IMPORTANT factor for me, and it should be for you too. Our planet, and the human species, is reaching a turning point; as our populations grow and we use and consume more and more products and fuel, our Earth is being hit hard. PLEASE CONSIDER THE ENVIRONMENTAL RAMIFICATIONS OF YOUR CONSUMERISM! THIS is why I prefer "If You Care" foil for simple cooking (or just bake straight on the pan and WASH it...) and I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND 100% RECYCLED PAPER TOWELS, BATH TISSUE, AND GARBAGE BAGS! Earth NEEDS us- the flora and fauna we share the planet with NEED US to consider our actions. The producing company cares about their environmental impacts and manufactures products that save material and energy- THIS IS CRUCIAL. Some reviewers commented about their frustration at removing the sticker from the new product...just be patient and remove carefully, I have bought this from LOCAL STORE MANY TIMES WITH NO ISSUES whatsoever; If you care about where EARTH and the human race are headed...perhaps switch to more Earth-conscious products. ONCE AGAIN, I opened the tin foil with NO ISSUES. To rip it all apart during opening seems pretty rash and stemming from extreme roughness/lack of patience. THIS IS A FANTASTIC PRODUCT AND WE NEED MORE LIKE IT! Thank you!! The four rolls for the price = A GREAT VALUE. The price IS COMPARABLE to "regular"/conventional reynolds wrap / tin foil- EXCEPT WITH THIS PRODUCT, YOU ARE REDUCING OUTPUTS OF WASTE AND CARBON :) We need this!

Easy to be Green
I love this product mostly because I am helping recycle and eliminate waste in a small way. However, it's also a pretty good product. Not as sturdy as heavy-duty Reynolds Wrap, but better than any store brand. It gets the job done.

Thinner than mainstream foil wrap
I wish this was thicker- it rips easily. Not sturdy enough for using on a grill. I want to like it more since it’s recycled and more environmentally friendly than the mainstream brands.

I love this foil!
Again another stellar product for the environmentally conscious person. I love the fact that it is made from 100% recycled foil - it's nice to see recycling in action. I myself (after washing the used aluminum foil) recycle it. This foil works really well and is not terribly expensive at all (most eco-products have a reputation for being expensive and this can put people off). I have never had a problem when using this foil for my cooking and baking needs. I also love the fact that there is no plastic packaging/excessive packaging and that the box it comes in is easily recyclable as well.
