Although highly priced, this is a good quality product. It will last a lifetime. However, kids need to be trained on initial use. Once the puppet pops up, kids stop winding the handle. The lid will not close at this point, because the handle needs to be turned a little more for the "latch" to snap back into a position whereby the lid can be held shut. Common sense really. I consider this a design flaw.

Completely disappointed . My son asked for his birthday. Waited with expectations but product is damaged. It was not working. I can’t repair it also as it is completely moulded. Don’t buy online
