Successfully powers UniFi USW Flex
My application needed to use a single Cat6 with PoE to a PoE powered switch that in turn would provide PoE power to additional downstream devices. As shown in the pictures, the Planet-POE-171A-60 is the only injector that provided the full power budget to the UniFi USW Flex.- The UniFi POE-54V-80W only provides a max of 8 Watts.- The UniFi Switch 8 POE-150W provides a max of 20 Watts.- This Planet PoE injector provides 46 Watts which is the maximum allowed by the UniFi USW Flex. When selecting a PoE injector, make sure it is spec'd as 802.3 bt when using it with the UniFi USW Flex. This specific Planet PoE injector works great for that purpose.
