Does exactly what it says , I use it for grating carrots and cheese mostly and there are no more grated fingers ! I would be willing to pay a lot more money for a metal one as it is a little insubstantial . The suction pad does not work at all .Unlike many kitchen gadgets , it is easy to clean .

bought to replace an electric grater that had stopped working. The item is easy enough to put together. Could not get the bottom to lock on to a surface even tried wetting it. Found food tends to get stuck round the drum after a short use and once the bits in the top get stuck it is difficult to turn the handle.

For the money it's great. I can grate cheese blocks in a minutes *best feature* however the slicer cant handle tomatoes and destroys my cucumber. Mainly got for grating things so this is perfect! Easy to clean too.

It's not the best choice I've ever made.. To be honest very cheap n nasty looking and to use it, it's like a kids toy. I have only used it once it will end up in a charity bag I guess

This is a good buy if your short on time and have a lot of grating to do. You do get some wastage with the last part but that's to be expected. Goes well in my kitchen.
