Can't afford regular massages...this is the way to go
I work as an ER nurse and find myself so sore after a 12 hour shift....though I can afford massages, when I go in and pay $100 and ask for them to focus on my sore/stiff shoulders...they spend like 5 minutes and move on.....grrrr. So I bought this heat lamp and after a shower, placed in on my vanity and just rotate around and let it work it's magic. I have also just laid down and used the adjustable lamp portion and placed above my hips and again - has eased my pain efficiently. Enjoy - great product!!!

Fantastic! Helps so much you'll want to live under it!
This lamp is FANTASTIC! I struggle with hip pain due to sitting ALL the time in front of the computer for work and driving long hours. My hips get no nutrients or circulation. This light is helps a TON! I use it on my neck too. Highly recommended!

LOVE’N my Infra-Red Heat Lamp!
Oooh Love it, Love It, LOVE IT!!! I have lyme disease and arthritis and it is such a wonderful penetrating heat and it feels SO good! I love in upstate NY and we are experiencing extreme cold these days...so it feels amazing!!!I recommend it to anyone who has any aches or pains or arthtitis!

Helps reduce swelling.
I bought this lamp for my dad who has several injuries. It's been great so far and has helped reduce swelling the speed up recovery for a few jammed fingers (he likes playing basketball)

Not Near Infrared. False advertising.
Not Near Infrared. False advertising. The paperwork it comes with even says “Far Infrared Heat Lamp.” Returning. What a hassle.

A must for fibromyalgia!!
Helps my fibromyalgia pain tremendously!! I love it. It's much cheaper than getting massages or paying for infrared tratments at a health spa. And since I am able to use it at home whenever I need it it actually works better than professional treatments in my opinion because I have access to it at all times. Don't have to wait for an appointment or worry about having the money to go to spa.

Effective but not usable next to a bed. If you only plan on using it while lying on the floor it will be good, but it is too small for next to your bed or massage table.
