I am so far very pleased with it it has stopped cats and foxes from digging my pots and flower bed. I have just bought a second one as due to he size of my garden I needed to cover various areas. I have had it for nearly a month and haven’t had to charge it. The noise is certainly deafening to humans so I have no doubt that it will disturb the animals. I have had other repellents but the battery has stopped working.

Even from new, you had to be much closer than 8m for the sensor to work, but it did flash and emit a sound. Despite good sunshine, the battery went flat. I recharged it and made sure the solar panel was in full sunshine. It ran out of power again so the solar cell was obviously not working. Have since returned it. Had bought one from Lidl at half the price that is still working.

Stopped working after heavy rain shorted out the device but on checking next day was working again. Don't know how successful it is in operation, only bought this to try and avoid a neighbours dog from accidentally destroying my plants

Keep everything off the garden...including my children( if I forget to turn them off before they go out). Only down side is...when at night something activate them...we can hear the buzz in the bedroom...its so powerful...maybe is for larger gardens than ours and need to be kept away from home( at least 10m away or you will have a headache)

2nd review : The replacement unit’s solar panel seems to work, which is great but it doesn’t work as well as the first unit with repelling birds, to be fear 90% of birds stay away. We also bought it to repel cats and stop them pooing in our garden but this doesn’t stop them at all!! so all and all it doesn’t work as stated - 2 STARS for the productUpdate : after posting this review, the seller send out a replacement, so 5 stars for the seller, sill 1 star for the product, hopefully the replacement units works as it should, if so I will change my review.1st review : Don't buy, I charged the unit up by using the USB and it worked but then it stopped work after about a week. It seems like the solar panel doesn't work, I have read of other cases like this. I want to contact the seller complain and ask for a working replacement or my money back. it did work and keep birds away at the start but as soon as it stopped working the bird came back and ate my grass seed. Pour quality product!!!

Very effective, has Stopped cats from fouling my garden. Added bonus of being able to charge batteries, when there is lack of sunshine.

Bought to see if it would deter two foxes that roam around our garden. Absolutely useless. Foxes walk around the detector and sit on the grass three - four feet away. It does not do what it says. Breaches trades description.Would not have given a single star, unfortunately that option is not even offered.

I noticed our bats were back by seeing some droppings and bought two of these to keep them from roosting behind the facade of my house. They seem to be working as I haven't seen any droppings in the past week.
