Always a crapshoot
Buying this type of product online is always a crapshoot. Is the seller pushing old inventory that has lost all its scent? Is it just alcohol with a light scent. Real? Fake? Knock-off? In this case, this item is the real deal. Scent is the same as you would find in a department store. Long lasting without being too heavy. The value is certainly there since that same department store is selling it for over $100. Highly recommended.

This is my 4th bottle to my collection from the design house of Issey Miyake. This was surprisingly a different aroma than what I would expect from Issey Miyake. The initial spray you get a intense blast of clean woodsy peppers and after the dry down you get a leathery wood smoke flavor. The smell does last several hours but you'll need to be close to notice. Not as strong as the original. There is nothing from what I can tell that has the Issey Miyake DNA in this and it is certainly unique but not something I would wear daily. My sense of smell is wired differently and most might find this refreshing. The flavors of this remind me a lot of Pierre Cardin's Innovation cologne. They seem very similar. Anyway still a good product to add to your collection.
