Sadly, this machine doesn't work for me. I've had plenty of vacuum machines over the decades, and I love them. This is my first disappointment. There is no help available for assistance, and their directions are significantly lacking. I am making certain it is latched shut, but can hear air leaking from right side of machine. Do yourself a favor and pay more for a Food Saver machine.

Got this little guy last year to freezer package the mushrooms we harvested during the summer and this has turned into my total foraging preservation method. Use it for fruits, mushrooms, herbs, whatever I pick gets sealed with this!

This unit just didn't meet expectations. The biggest knock on it--- NON-reusable bags, I guess I must have missed that info in the product descriptions! After using a smaller unit that DID offer reusable bags (and works really well) this sealer just seems much less consumer friendly dollar-wise. Moreover, though there are reviews stating that it's so simple to use I didn't find the instructions all that clear and I'm generally pretty intuitive about such things.Finally, the locking mechanism takes a good deal of pressure to securely lock--to the point where it felt as though it was about to break... BTW, I'm 6"2 190 lbs.Again, as the key reason behind this type of product is to save money by effectively storing food-- the biggest issue with this sealer is the need to keep purchasing bags. There are better more cost effective options. Returned.

I don't like that it does not indicate when it have gone from vacuuming to sealing.Has a universal hose adapter. I have used this on vacuum zip lock storage bags (food)

Worked really great on dry goods, I have not had a chance to do any moist goods. So far very impressed

This was my first vacuum sealer and I loved it up until it developed a small gap in the sealing line. I used it for my sous vide and it saw use about 2 days a week on average. I kept it clean, used the storage block in the tray, and it still failed faster than expected. Hopefully they will warranty it but I'd consider another model if this one becomes available again.

As a avid meal prepped this has made my life so much easier. I love this machine for freezer storage, meal prep, or just left overs. You won’t be disappointed
