It's great to find a high-quality, lightweight, compact shelter that provides tons of shade
Everything about this shade is high quality and durable. It's great to find a lightweight, compact shelter like this that assembles to provide a great deal of shade.I was wondering if the mesh sleeves through which the aluminum poles are to be inserted would be flimsy; they are instead very tough. The nylon is also strong - more like a tarp than thin tent nylon. The stakes are fine: thick aluminum (although some will want to substitute large iron tent stakes). The poles are thicker than tent poles. My only upgrade was to substitute some reflective rope for the black rope that comes with the shade. The poles go into their own nylon bag so they won't tear the shelter material, and the stakes have their own small bag as well. The overall bag, as well as the pole/stake bags, is made of heavy, durable nylon, and unlike so many tents and shelters it's actually large enough that it can easily fit the folded shelter back into it after you unpack it from the factory.I was able to set the shelter up by myself, but it would definitely be easier for two or more people to accomplish - especially if there's any wind. You definitely need to have the guy lines stakes out in order to have a sturdy shelter. You can buy sidewalls from PahaQue that apparently clip into well-placed loops on the shelter corners, but you could also string up a tarp of your own using the same loops if desired, although it won't look as nice.I am 5' 10" tall and I have to stoop just a tiny bit to step under the shade edge. Once I'm under the edge there's tons of headroom, and the whole shelter feels very unconfining. It can hold a standard picnic table with lots of extra room to spare. In the past we have taken one of those fold-up steel shelters with us, which work great but which take up tons of room in our SUV. This shelter will use only a fraction of the space and weighs much, much less. Kudos to the manufacturer and designer!

Quality product with cool design!!
My wife and I recently used the PahaQue Cottonwood, 10' x 10' in Death Valley as a shade canopy for our Little Guy tear drop trailer. The canopy has great design and is well constructed. It worked extremely well for us. Also, the customer service at PahaQue is excellent!!

Perfect sun shade or rain fly
Perfect camping accessory. We are very pleased with it. Easy to set up and pack away. The first time we used it we had both rain and sun so it provided us with a dry place to get in out of the rain and shade from the heat of the day. Ease of use is our favorite feature.

Worked well with our teardrop clamshell camper
The PahaQue fit over our T&B CSMAX cam per perfectly, keeping the rain off of us while we cooked. The reasons we did not give it 5 Stars were the stakes which do not work well with rocky ground & the difficulty with erecting in windy conditions (impossible with only two people )

Not easy to return.
Be sure this is what you want when ordering, because once the tent is out of the box there is no returning it. The tent seems well built, but didn't meet our needs. However, because we took it out of the plastic bag to see what it was like, we were told it is not returnable. This was an expensive mistake.

Very nice!
This is a high quality shelter, and it goes up easily and is lightweight compared to a pop up.We are going on an all summer trip and am sure we will use it often.

Great for Camping
This was just what we were looking for. Love it. Some reviews made me nervous about setting it up, but we had no problem. Two people work best.
