Reading the reviews I was not sure wether the reviewers were talking about lightweight, medium or heavy weight thermals! I chose the lightweight.Wow! They are great, they fit like a glove and have room to move. Once I had them on I did not want to take them off they are so warm.I use them for work (Enforcement Officer/Traffic Warden) I work on the English/Scottish border as you can imagine it is very cold and windy. Being out all day in freezing temperatures and bitterly cold winds takes its toll on you after 8-9 hours. Since I have had these I am like a new man.I am warm all day and sometimes I don't need my heavy jacket. I have now bought more of them, whats also good is when I finish work if me and the wife go out for a walk or shopping I don't need a coat as I have these under my clothing and stay warm.You can't tell you are wearing them, my only biggest regret is I never bought them sooner.

I was very dubious when the package arrived; the material is so thin I thought these are never Thermals. I was in for a surprise, super thin, snug and comfy; I don’t even know I’m wearing Thermals. I work outside and here in Sheffield it’s been down to -2 so far this winter, my work is not physical just walking and dealing with customers. In the last 4 years of doing this Job, this is by far the best Thermal set I’ve used, never been cold yet. Even when my outer clothing gets damp and even wet this Thermal Set has kept me warm. I would highly recommend.

I bought these for my son who is a scaffolder and at this time of year it can be very cold especially early morning. This review is what my son has said about the LAPASA Men’s Thermal Underwear Set. They are warm, lightweight and comfortable to wear. I really noticed the difference in warmth and even took sweatshirt off while my workmates were feeling the cold, unlike me in my cosy thermals! Even though they keep me warm I don't sweat in them. They are hardwearing, as a scaffolder I go through at least 1 work t'shirt every week due to the scaffold poles damaging and ripping the shoulders. My thermal top shows no signs of wear. They wash well and dry quickly. My workmates have asked where I got them because they're impressed with warmth and durability. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them

This set is in a different league to thermals I already have which are too tight, scratchy on the skin and have no flexibility. These are just so comfortable! The material is gorgeous, thick and good quality. It is soft and fleecy on the inside which feels great against the skin and the texture on the outside looks good. It stretches really well so you have total free comfy movement. The warmth is great too. I love everything about it. I've worn it to go out walking on a frosty day and I've worn it around my really cold house. Perfect. My only regret is that only have 1 set!

I purchased this for my boyfriend. He's 6"3' and every time we buy clothes we have to get a size up because he has large shoulders. I bought the set in size XL but it turned out it was moderately larger than normal. Anyway he loved it so much he's using it to stay warm at home. If you go up a size the result will be a cozy, soft embrace to your body. The quality is great and the lightweight version keeps you very warm despite the appearance. I also purchased the L size for him to use it under his clothes when we'll go on vacation on the mountains. Recommended

Seller did reply well to 2 of my questions -. The different weights of this item listed together not separately described these ,all seem the same when press on the different pictures.Saw this days after ordering too late to cancel the order .....In Q's & A's on 2nd page -seller replied to Q.-'would this be suitable for running in cold weather?A. ' "Dear client,This product is good for casual wear, we don't suggest you to wear it when do exercises.........By LAPASA-UK SELLER on 23 August 2017". Nothing like this mentioned in the listing .Quite the opposite.Would not have ordered this if I had seen this in time .Just shows worth looking at ALL the Q's & A's .Thankfully Amazon checked this for me.This has caused a lot of difficulty as sent as a gift directly to my son who works long hours.Such a disappointment.I asked about suitability for cycling but the reply came too late as many sizes selling out fast I ordered on the strength of the main descriptions.I would not have ordered this had I seen this Q&A answer before,as bought for working involving bending & exercising daily. If only seller had listed all the different weights separately & described each on the pictures,& what it was suited for clearly.Thought I was seeing things when read this ,as described fit for a very different purpose,as I understood it.

This is the second set I have purchased for my grandson. He works in a very cold environment and these garments have been a godsend to him. They are well made and sturdy as well as soft and comfortable. I bought the heavyweight version because of his work and during the coldest spells the first set were worn and washed very frequently. Not only do they dry very quickly but have stood up well to the heavy wash/ wear, hence my decision to buy again. I cannot recommend them enough and I personally will buy again.

Needed some thermal underwear for my winter fishing and my last ones were very uncomfortable I remember. The Lapasa thermals looked a good bet and arrived quickly. The material is slightly shiny and stretchy due to the lycra? which is reassuring should they shrink in the wash. I'm a little disappointed in the way they feel - which is a 'cool' almost wet? type feeling, and to me not like others have said - that you can't even notice you're wearing them. I definitely could feel the material all day. Maybe that's just me then?. Moving around in them was fine they didn't ride up at all like my last thermals, and they do make you overheat if you exert yourself.. but the bottom line is they do keep you warm as I realised late in the day, when the temperature dropped and I could see my breath. I did not feel cold at all. So I'm pleased with them so far. I knocked off 1 star only for the 'cool' feeling they give not for their thermal properties, which seem very good. Have to remember to cold wash only with them.
