Overall a good bargain for a daytime monocular
The good:Good magnification.Priced right.Includes both an attachment for your phone and a tripod. Normally I just see these with a tripod and it's impossible to hold your phone lined up just right for long.The cons:I may have high standards, but the lens quality lacked a hint of clarity.While the phone attachment is nice, it does take a moment to get it lined up right. Not a huge deal but I thought it would be a moment quicker.No hard case. Again, not a huge deal since it didn't say it came with one, but I like it when a hard case is included.Use in low light is poor. It didn't claim to be much but I expected a little more with the way they worded the ad.Overall, if balancing the price/quality/accessories, it's an alright option.

Not as advertised
I would have given this item more stars if it wasn't for the fact that the item advert is very misleading.It was bought because it looked like the perfect solution for taking pictures of distant objects but the tripod doesn't work. Taking a picture using that tripod gave me ridiculously blurred images.The next problem is one that could have been avoided if it was stated in the manual.Most smart phones uses some sort of auto focus, which must be (to the best of my knowledge) locked or disabled for this item to function properly. With auto focus on the phone tries to take a picture of the closest object which is the lens of the eyepiece, so it didn't work with my older phone.As a hand held unit it works great but I suspect most people would have purchased this in order to take pictures using their phones.And finally, this is geared towards amazon. When fake reviews... I meant to say tainted reviews make it unto your site it hurts everyone because this particular item was chosen in part due to its reviews.DO BETTER AMAZON !!!

High quality telescope
This telescope is fantastic.I am a tour guide and travel a lot. This is not my first time to buy a telescope.The product is far better than the ones I brought before . It can go very far alway and still clear.the price is good too. Great shopping experience!

About what you’d expect
Works well - part to attach to your phone is kinda flimsy, and the piece that attaches to the fastening nut came off almost immediately. Good thing I have a hot glue gun... Other than that, really happy with this!!

Good scope, honestly advertised.
This scope is as advertised. Very good visual quality for the price. The smartphone adapter isn’t particularly good. You may want to separately purchase a heavy duty plastic or metal one with a screw-on connection. The tripod is also something you might want to purchase separately. But the scope is good.

Clear
This monocular works fine when attached to the phone and seems to be clear. Without the phone, it's a bit difficult to use. The tripod seems to be quite cheaply made. However, I do have another quality tripod I can use.

Not easy to attach
Attaching this to your phone is difficult. When trying to take it off a piece snapped and broke very easily. The picture also turns out like a circle.

Good fit. Easy to carry and use. The focus wheel could be a bit more fluid, but acceptable. $ well spent for what it delivers.
