Maui Jim Sunglasses | Banyans 412 | Rimless Frame, Polarized Lenses, with Patented PolarizedPlus2 Lens Technology

I've been an Oakley guy all my life, have several pairs, love them of course ! But, I recently had Lasik done and wanted to try something different, so I purchased these and the Hot Sands, these fit perfect first time on !! The Banyan's I've had to do some adjustment on the temple levers, there were about 1/4 inch off, one lever higher than the other. But after a couple of days of VERY CAREFUL adjustment, their coming around, and I also like them very much. I think they have a classy look, lenses are top notch. Are they better than my Oakley lenses, No ... they are both top notch in their own way. I definitely think that the Oakleys will take more of a pounding, you will also pay twice more than Maui Jims ... but their definitely both keepers, whay I really like about these two pair they are wide, I'm guessing their made for bigger heads, which is what led me to this two pair. I wear a 7 5/8 hats, and both of these fit my noggin very nicely. So, good price, classy frames, very nice lenses, I ordered both with HCL Bronze, and Love It ... Once You Recieve Them, You Probably Will Definitely Want To Keep Them...

These are the finest sunglasses I have ever owned. I have a big melon and I have trouble finding sunglasses that fit well. Most that I have tried ride too high on my face. My previous favorite were Oakley M frames. The Maui Jim's are leaps and bounds above. Incredible clarity, excellent fit, super light, super durable. The light weight and grippy but unobtrusive temple arms really make for a a super comfortable set of shades.I love that they come with a very high quality hard shell case, and soft 'sack' case inside of that. I store them in that faithfully, and have managed to keep them like new for two years.Unfortunately I bumped into some protruding rock in a cave, and got a scratch on them, so now I am getting to try the repair process, which so far is really seamless and straight forward. Even if I have to cough up $60 for new lenses, that's very reasonable compared to Oakley's etc.

These are the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I bought a pair about 8 years ago at an airport store (obviously paying too much) but held onto them all those years. They also held up all those years. A few years ago the glasses needed a new stem. I thought, there is no way Maui Jim will fix these being so far out of any reasonable warrente period. I called them up and they said to send them in. I did and, incredibly, I got them back fixed! No charge!!!The glasses are a good balance between light weight and solid build (I can be rough on glasses). The lenses are second to none. Both the glasses and lenses have withstood several drops and rough treatment.The glasses finally we're getting to the point where they were looking a little ragged so I bought a new pair here on Amazon. Very happy with them and the seller shipped them very quickly.Maui Jim (the glasses and the company) are really in a league of their own

I have been a maui Jim fan for years, then I decided to venture and buy a classy iconic sunglasses that I see many celebrities wear, so I bought from amazon a persol wayfarer. I took the glasses out for an hour walk to test it, then I decided to use my old maui Jim for the second half of my walk. Lo and behold I literally said "I can seeeee, I can seeee, that is how the maui Jim sunglass lenses are, the finest optical correct lenses in the world by far. Upon returning from my walk I immediately put back my persol in the box and returned them, and went on a maui Jim buying spree. I had a hookipa, so I just received 2 diffrent color bi-focal hookipa, a maui Jim banyan, and island time, I installed in the latter once a stick on bi-focal from optx 20/20 after trimming them to fit my field of vision, and I'm a happy camper, my dellima now is which one to wear in each day. Very lightweight and comfortable too. Do your eyes a favor, go buy a maui Jim.

I purchased these sunglasses on Amazon, with no issues in shipping or packaging. They came on time and looked exactly like the picture. This is the third pair of Maui Jim sunglasses I've owned. They are a bit expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. They are polarized and have a greenish hue on the lens, so you can see much cleared when the sun is out as well as when you are driving. The fit is very nice and they are not bulky or to big for a person with a medium sized face. Overall, these are great glasses and I would recommend them to anyone interested in a fashionable pair of sunglasses.

I guess I don't understand why they asked me if these sunglasses provided good arch support.......of course they didn't!!!! When I tried out their arch support prowess under my 230lbs they quite readily flattened out and poked the bottom of my foot. The sensation was very uncomfortable. My arch is a little bruised from the nose bridge digging into it but I think I'll heal easier than the sunglasses will.

These are the most comfortable sunglasses I have ever worn, lightweight they donot make marks on the bridge of your nose. This is my 3rd pair, broke the arm on the first pair tried to superglue (if I hadn't done that,the company would have replaced them), 2nd pair I left at a restaurant, went back they were gone, tried other sunglasses, had to have another pair of these, also they stay pushed back on your head like a headband. Great tint and clarity especially when driving. Worth the price.

They are huge compared to the other glasses we have bought in this brand. I have bought female and male. These are for a big size head guy. We are returning because my husband thought they were for female but they are too huge for me. They are very nice if you have a large face. Service with the seller is wonderful!
