Sooooo good
Bought this bad boi for a bit of one bagging to Nice this Xmas (cause Blighty is f****** cold and miserable). A twat, with a little jiggery-pokery I got 2 weeks worth of shizzle into it It's well made, looks amazing, is super comfy and generally my new fave thing Too big for an everyday carry, but for a few weeks of well deserved sun it's a winner

The best 45L bag
Easily the best bag for one bag travel. It's relatively expensive but the quality is first rate, has a lifetime warranty.

Uncomfortable, heavy but beautiful to look at
This is my second attempt to submit a review, not sure why my first attempt didn’t work - perhaps they only like glowing reviews. Don’t get me wrong, this bag is lovely; it’s clever, we’ll designed and brilliantly executed. There is however, an elephant in the room that should be a deal breaker for every sane traveler - this bag is unforgivably uncomfortable to carry; and as that is the core function of a travel bag, I struggle to understand why so many people just gloss over it. It’s brilliant, amazing, oh and it’s a brick that carry’s like someone loaded 70kg into a Kanken and made you carry it. No amount of awesome design and fabulous ergonomics can cover it up - it’s big, heavy and completely over priced.

Awlful Straps, otherwise good
I needed a bag for weekly commute to week and after countless research I picked PD over Thuel because of the sleeve and the volume. Great bag, nice looking, plenty of room, many pockets that are useful and you can even hide the straps. Everything was great. The shape may suit someone taller but since I can't see it, I don't care that much. Unfortunately after my 3 days trip, both shoulder straps have left me deep red marks which are painful and uncomfortable. Considering I only carry this bag for less than 6 hours across 3 days, this is bad. You have great design onost areas, for this price point, please do better.

Buy this bag, but dont lose the straps!!!
its an amazing bag, but dont trust the DOWNWARD facing magnet pocket for the extra straps. The straps will vanish.

Worst bag ever- a total waste of money
Save your time and money and avoid this overpriced, unpractical, badly put together bag.

So uncomfortable to carry!
I agree with the other reviewer. I got the 30L travel bag and goodness it's the worst travel bag I've ever had! It's so uncomfortable to carry, the handle is so uncomfortable, i was so sore and ended up with bruises around my shoulders and underarms. It feels like you're carrying a 70L bag. There's no inner buckle to hold your stuff together so whenever you open the main compartment everything just falls out, the side pockets for the bottle as much as it's expandable still won't accommodate larger water bottles. There are straps in front to hold a a jacket or blanket and those continue to come loose even after tightened. The handle is very flimsy as sometimes feels you're wearing the back side due to the ability to tuck it in to carry as a suitcase. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely bag aesthetically but not very practical for travel. It's pretty pricey but not constructed to feel comfy. I can't imagine having to travel with a backpack that causes me so much pain while carrying and afterwards. Not for me! Had to return it! I love peak design and have several of their products but this needs a lot of work especially in the handles, it needs to be well padded!

1 Woche Asien geht ohne weiteres. Der Rest ist Rimowa bleibt jetzt zu Hause stehen

This item gets a lot of returns, and I bet it's because people get it to try it out but end up going with something that better suits their uses and is cheaper. The quality is obviously very high so I doubt it's due to defects. The biggest flaw (no comfortable handles) is easily fixed. While it has great "grab handles" in strategic locations for putting it on, taking it off, and getting it in and out of vehicles, it doesn't have good handles for carrying when you're not using the backpack. Simple solution: use any shoulder strap clipped to the handy attachment points. They're not intended for that, and look like it might be off-balance, but it turns out it works quite well. It's narrow, so you'll tend to use it with smaller compression sacks. While it's a decent packpack, it doesn't have load lifters, so while the hip belt is good enough to carry the load, your shoulders will always carry part of it -- how much depends on your torso length. I'm 6'1" but long legs so medium male torso, but my shoulders carried about 1/3 to 1/2 the load. I tried to rig up some load lifters using the attachment points and it almost worked -- it would have worked had my torso been an inch or three shorter. So, this is NOT a long trek hiking backpack. Almost but not quite. The pockets and access points are nicely laid out and useful. It does weigh an extra pound or two, but once I get 30-40 lbs of stuff in it, that doesn't matter to me.
