Pinemeadow Golf PGX Set (Driver, 3 Wood, Hybrid, 5-PW Irons, Left Hand, Regular)

The clubs have been pretty good for the first 2 weeks of play ... until the 3 wood snapped. Great shot but not so great for the club. Hopefully will be able to return. Giving a 2 star rating will update if good customer service.

I haven't used the clubs yet, but I'm not rating my ability to hit the ball! That's not the club. These clubs are made really solid. They don't appear to be department store clubs. You would think that for the price. I give 5 stars for craftsmanship and appearance.

I bought these about 1 month ago, and have taken them to the range a half dozen times. They were under $150 at Amazon. They perform well on that dry, level surface. We'll see if that holds up on the course next spring.The driver hits as far as my old Big Bertha (which I made the error of lending.) It looks like it carries about 200+ yards on the range with a pretty low line-drive flight. I've had a love-hate relationship with drivers anyway and was using a 2-iron hybrid instead for the past few years. Thus far I really like this driver. I definitely hit it farther than with the 2-hybrid (and straighter!)I also like the 3 wood. The 4 hybrid is fine but I still like my other 4 hybrid a little better (Adams A12 OS set). The shaft on this one feels a bit soft.The irons hit well, nothing special but nothing wrong. My other set has graphite shafts so I have to snap my wrists a bit more to get the same distance with these steel shafts, but the 5 iron still goes about 170-190 on the range, with a nice trajectory (not a line drive hit.) I used to prefer graphite shafts thinking that they were lighter to carry but it doesn't matter after buying a pull cart.At the other end the pitching wedge goes about 100 yards on the range with a normal swing and a nice high trajectory on the ball flight. Best of all I can even sometimes hit the damn ball where I aimed it! I actually struggled with that (accuracy) using the Adams clubs, which never quite felt right. They are "offset" and while I don't exactly know what that means they just felt odd compared to older clubs I used to use. These (Pinemeadow) clubs feel more natural for my swing.In any event I still have money left over to try golf lessons sometime, or I could just quit and be out less than $150. So that's nice.

This is a very nice set of clubs, and reasonably priced! The only downside so far (becides my slice) is the faces on the woods arent as hard as other clubs I have had, which leaves little scuff marks. You can judge how you are hitting with them, but not all clubs do this.

Great set for the money

I can't complain. My first set of clubs and after a year they are holding up just fine.

Ive had these clubs for about 2 months. On their 4th use the driver snapped at the handle on a backswing. I thought they were great until this point, though now I am skeptical toward their quality

They ok as a starter kit. My son is on his second set. First driver snapped at the hozzle after about 10 drives.Lets hope the second set are better constructed,

They look great and really perform better than I thought

These clubs look good and have the current golf technology of more expensive clubs. Good price for a set of beginner to more experienced golfers.

Build quality is very poor, and a club came apart on day 1 at the driving range. Avoid!

Great set good balance

I was surprised that I could hit the ball as far as I did with little effort.My 19 year old son said he could not believe how far and straight I hit the ball.I am going to look for a 4 iron as well from them.
