yes, it comes included with one year Tech support provided by FingerTec directly, even you purchase it from Amazon. They have a great support team and they help you remotely via team viewer. they can be reached at 1800 921 4270 #2

Hi Angela, The software updates are published on the website. Within the program you can fetch new updates easily. The cd comes with tcms v2 but you can download tcms v3 from the fingertec website.

No, we just have ours mounted on the wall in the warehouse. Just has power that is all.You can connect it to your network, but we didn't need to.In our office, we have the desktop software and we use a USB drive to download/upload data when needed.On payday, we download data for employee times and use that to create payroll.
