Not for shallow fast small creeks
Stand up stability is great. I’m 6’ 180#. And I liked the cockpit layout. But the hull design at the back gets whipped around too easy and fast in shallow fast current. I’m sure this is a good yak for big river and lakes. Although I did find it to be slow and too much effort to paddle through bodies of water. I’ve since found the right yak for me and the waters I catchandrelease.

Excellent Stability, Speed, & Comfort!
I have used this kayak for a while and performs very well. It has great secondary stability for kayaks in it's size group. Seat is comfortable for all day trips. It tracks straight and is quick on the water. One thing that makes this kayak paddle so well is the fact that you can get a nice efficient high angle paddle stroke close to the hull. A high angle paddle stroke close to hull will create more propulsion and less turning. I use a Backwater Assassin paddle 230cm. My height is 6ft 2in and I weigh about 195lbs. This is a great all around kayak at an excellent price. It is designed for easy rigging and addition of common accessories like fishfinders, Powerpole, motors, and more! This kayak is becoming popular with tournament kayak anglers.In photos the stability is evident. I am standing up on side of the back rear gunnel and yet didn't flip!
