Lovely, playable instruments at a great price
Quite a few reviews claim that these are ornamental and not instruments. Ignore those reviews as it seems to me that they were written by people who simply did not know how they were to be played. For example, one person took a picture of the closed ends of the pipes and said that she nearly blew her brains out trying to blow them open. I give her kudos for her attempt, but that's totally the wrong way to play a panpipe. These are not recorders. You don't blow through the pipe. Instead, you blow over the opening. Think of filling up coke bottles with various amounts of liquid. Then, blow across the openings to get your notes. When I first got it, I couldn't get a sound. I handed it to my husband, who immediately got it going. I realized by watching him that I needed to angle my lips just right and blow at just the right speed (not too soft, but not too hard either). I never did learn to whistle, so perhaps that's why I didn't instinctively figure it out like my husband. In any case, I played through each note, checking for accuracy in the pitch. All sounded right at labeled. (Pitches are labeled with solfege. Note that what is commonly called 'ti' here in the US is called 'si' over there.)

Pretty cheap
Came in quicker than expected but does not seem like natural bamboo. It’s hard to get a noise out of and came with stuff written all over it. Not to mention when I peeled off the “Made in Peru” sticker, it peeled off some of the paint. You get what you pay for I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not really a usable instrument
This is cute but it’s more like a novelty. Like something you would pick up from a street vendor to hang up next to your tiki mask on the wall. You can play it but it isn’t easy to play and it isn’t something that you would play in a band.

Definitely a good buy
My daughter loved it for her bday.

Another fun instrument
These were initially hard to learn to play. But once you climb the learning curve, this is a beautiful sounding instrument.

Awful quality, out of tune
This was used, it is not new! like they claim, came with all kinds of writing on it! Also was completely out of tune and made very poorly, came all scraped up too. I have been playing the pan pipes for years and never had a set this bad before. Go with a different seller, theirs a reason they are so cheap!!
