Q: will this work with a car battery?

Hi Davin The pump operates on 12 volt DC and draws 8 amps so if your battery is 12 v and can support an 8 amp load, it will work.

Q: Can I hook this direct to a 100watt solar panel , like other low watt solar panel, or will this work for a couple day and then stop working .

I run mine with a pair to 140Watt solar panels, but I use a Morningstar charge controller and deep cycle battery (trolling motor battery). I get 12-14 hours of run time per day. With a 100 Watt direct connect, I think you'll only get 3-4 hours on bight sunny days.

Q: what is the max height this will pump? I need about 6 feet.

Hello, I bought the pump for a solar shower project. I have used it for a few days now to circulate water through a solar heater (100' of 3/4" plastic pipe) and divert to a shower head at 7 feet. Excellent pressure at the shower head. The cable is actually 3 meters long and not 3 feet as advertised. Seems like a good pump however it is only subjected to intermittent use.

Q: Does this have a standard 110v plug?

No, this is a 12 V pump and should not be plugged into 110 V outlet.
