This game is hands down the best game I’ve played on the PS4. I loved the various degrees of difficulty. After playing the normal mode the first time, I went back and replayed several times in the harder modes. The storyline had me intrigued from the first scene and continued to throw unexpected curve balls through the entire game. This is a game I could play many times over (which I have) and not get bored. Purchasing the second game happened instantly after finishing this and it was just as great. I highly recommend both games to anyone who loves a great story line and 3rd person video games.

Absolutely love this game but...
One of my favorite video game franchises ever, such a good story and good characters. However specifically in this remastered version, Joel's face looks very different from the original. It was jarring to finish this game and start playing Part II, where his face is back to normal. Not sure exactly what is different... maybe his eyes? It's just kinda odd. I did enjoy playing Left Behind after finishing the main story though.
