Excellent distant viability
These particular binoculars are Supurb for the price. I ordered them for a trip to Alaska and having them made the trip so much better. We saw Dall Sheep high on the mountain clifs, Humpback Whales clearly from about 400 yards, nesting Bald Eagles , Stellar Sealions, Puffins, and Mountain Goats with their tiny kids running on a very small grassy knoll high on a jagged cliff. Trust me you won't miss anything with these binoculars. There were several Europeans on the same tour and they commented on our " matching" Bushnell binoculars. I am completely satisfied with the adjustability, clarity and ease of use. They came with a fair case dusting cloth and lens caps. The enclosed strap held nice and securely that was more comfortable than I expected. The shipping was super fast and they were packaged securely.

Does exactly what I need, at a frugal price point.
7X50 is the best way to go if you aren't going to stabilize your binos against something else, allowing you to see what you're looking for in spite of unavoidable user movements. That's why 7X50 became the standard for people out on the ocean in small craft. I live in the country, with long range views, surrounded by wildlife, and I wanted to be able to leave these binos out on the counter, ready to go, whenever I wanted a close up. Our bird-feeders have attracted over 23 identified varieties of birds in the first two years since we started the list, and the Bushnell H2O waterproof 7X50 does everything I wanted, without costing me an arm and a leg.

Great quality.
I purchased these for a trip to Yellowstone. I wanted something decent, but could not bring myself to spend a couple hundred on some I only occasionally would use. I also did not want to end up having an unexpected rain storm messing up my binoculars. Well I can’t comment on the waterproof part, as we had excellent weather, but we did spot many animals in the distance and these binoculars provided excellent clarity and magnification. These were by far the favorite for the group when viewing animals at a distance. They are a bit heavy for hiking, though they do have a very nice wide padded strap that comes with them so hiking with them around your neck is not out of the question. This type of binocular is bigger and heavier by design and I knew that would be the case so I didn’t mark them down for it at all.The important thing here was that they were used by multiple people and everyone was able to adjust them quickly and easily for a clear view of whatever animal we had spotted in the distance.

Good company to deal with.
They have a weight and feel of quality but way too tight. Hard, physically to focus. If you need them in a hurry, say wildlife looking or for a license plate going by, forget it. You will need time to adjust. I took back another star. Update. I owned them since June, 2017 and now, Oct, 2018 I have to send them back to the repair station. I cannot get the interpupillary distance correct. I feel crossed eyed. Update. I sent them to Bushnell 10/25/18 and received a replacement free 13 days later. (I should have done this right away with Amazon) The only cost was $13.65 postage and another $10 Bushnell wanted for return shipping. They are great now. I gave back 2 stars. I guess I got a lemon originally.

Quality binoculars.
I really can't fault these binoculars. They are bright, steady and seem to be well made, with a firm and precise feel to all controls. I bought them to keep on my boat for finding landmarks, channel markers etc. and they do a great job. At $70 I am not going to cry if they fall overboard or get damaged. I have never tried an expensive pair of binoculars so can't compare but an expensive pair would need to be pretty amazing to make these seem inferior.

Not for rough weather or conditions!
I have use them just a few times on the water, a couple of times with rough weather.Just after the first time they got humidity inside, still usable but bothering.Another day, they fell twice from about 2 feet in the boat and one side broke already (not the lenses but the tube inside). They can't be used anymore.Net, cheap but not worth unless they get no water and you are careful not to drop them at all. I guess I will need to spend more and get something from West Marint.

focal ring breaks easily
Heavily-made and sturdy, but the eye pieces have a plastic ring for adjusting your focal distance that breaks very easily if bumped - whether closed against unit - or extended. The plastic ring is beneath the rubber outer ring so you don't realize how thin and easy to break it is. We've had numerous units break with small impacts like bumping against a hand rail or other object. The strap that comes with these units is so chintzy that we had to replace them with sturdier Nikon versions. All-in-all if the focus ring wasn't so weak, and the strap wasn't so cheap, these would be pretty durable units.

At Long Last, the Perfect Power
I bought these in 12x after having 8x, 10x, and 16x powers. The 12x are perfect for me. These are well made, come with a case and a strap, and have decent multi-coat glass. Good value at a reasonable price.

Good quality waterproof binocular at a great price on Amazon
Brilliant light-weight Binocular at a great price. So far, I have used these to watch wild birds around local woodland and find them easy to focus. Clarity is just great and the magnification is right for wildlife viewing. I intend using these on safari in India early in 2016.Used them to view the "red moon" in September 2015 and had a great view that enabled me to set up my DSLR to take shots of this once in a lifetime phenomenon. A great buy from Amazon that I wish I had acquired sooner.

nice binoculars
Really nice binoculars but heavier than I anticipated. Had difficulty focusing initially but once done really crisp. will probably need to get a support as too heavy for me to use in the field without a problem as I carry a camera as well.

Very rugged, very good value and very heavy!
Picked up these 7x50 poro prism's for night and marine use. Here's the good and the bad.........GOOD POINTS:Very good value as these 7x50's cost about the same as the bargain Nikon Aculon lines but are more rugged, waterproof and nitrogen filled (no fogging). To get this in top lines like Nikon you're looking at up to twice the price.Excellent armour coating and appears very tough. Eye and lens caps fit nice and tight and the twist up eye cups give excellent eye relief which I need. Multi-coating is also very good and bright at night and being a 7x50 poro prism there's a superb depth of field (the further the front of the lenses are apart, the greater the depth perception).BAD POINTS:Very bulky compared to roof prism's and very heavy at 1 kilo (2-1/4 pounds) and a real neck killer for extended periods of time. Also if you have small hands like mine it's difficult to get to the middle focusing ring which is also very stiff to make it even worse. Also has only a limited adjustment for those with closely set eyes and as a result I can never quite get a single true circular image. sigh......SUMMING UP:Still this 7x50 does make a very good bargain priced binocular for night use at home or on a boat with it's 7 mm exit pupil (the maximum width the human eye can typically open), excellent eye relief, waterproofing and tough as nails. But probably more suitable for those with large and strong hands and not so good for those with small hands and narrow faces.Comes complete with a padded neck strap and a soft sided case which also has a strap.4 stars out of 5.
