Fantastic!
I'm usually a bit lazy about writing reviews, but having had the Mishiko for a week I am thrilled with it. Our spaniel is a total pain about bombing off into the woods. We always suspect she's not gone that far but she hides very well! After having tested the tracker on her with the lead on all week, this afternoon we decided to let her off and she duly disappeared, but we had absolutely no trouble tracking her down. We have installed the app on both mine and my husband's phones, so we were both able to track her at the same time. Thoroughly recommend. We have made a strap with clips to attach it to her harness, as it won't charge through the double webbing of the harness. Aside from that we have no problem with it charging, and a charge lasts a good couple of days. Also, I'm not sure what the Monthly, Yearly and Unlimited options refer to on Amazon, as this seems to work perfectly well without any kind of subscription.

Do not buy - no longer supported
It was ok. More of a fitness tracker than a way to find your missing pooch. However the company has today announced it is ceasing service from 10 Apr 2020. I paid the top end price for unlimited data service so not best pleased.

Deeply flawed
Been using this tracker on and off for 6 months now. I keep trying to find positives in it and give it a chance, even waiting until I had my new phone just to double check that it wasn't some syncing issue with my phone before writing this review, but nope, really struggerling to reccomend anything about this product. The battery life is very poor (although a small bit of defence that it comes with a charging pad) and will need charging every day and half, so a portion of your dog's activity everyday won't be recorded by default. The GPS doesn't function correctly and repeatedly puts my dog in different neighbouring villages at home (whilst my phones GPS is picked up on perfectly). Not so useful for using the out of bounds function. The gps does function correctly sometimes and was a real reassurance when I went abroad for work and could see that my dog was at home (with company), but I couldn't really trust it 100% either. I've used the tracker locally in areas about 5 to 30 miles away from my home and experience similar issues. Oddly the tracker does seem to work better when in walk mode, which it does a pretty good job with even in the woods near me, but wouldn't work at all on a 5 mile hike around a waterfall trail a good 3 hour journey away from area either (of which the tracked distance for the day was 27 miles! (It was more like 9)) and refused the stop tracking too one day so I was forced to leave the app running and it rather comically tracked the car journey home. . .as if my dog had just run 30-50mph. . .The light sometimes refuses to turn off, of which you can only seem to do in power saving mode, so I'll have a blinking or shining dog all day. Saver is supposed to limit the update to 5 minutes rather then constantly, but I'll have issue syncing the device irregardless. Sometimes it forgets the previous days activity but then will track the current day flawlessly (of which I can check against the excellent pit pat which my dog also wears). The supposed health tracking is pretty non existent in this device. It doesn't give out useful tips or make it an especially important part of the app interface to record your dogs weight. Can't help but wonder if an update for this was planned that was never rolled out. Fitness planner it is not.Overall I'm tired of this device. The novelty has well and truly worn off and at the end of the day I'm just not getting anything usable out of this tracker. I'll probably still put it on the dog when we go someplace new for a slight peace of mind, but I really couldn't trust it. If you just want an activity tracker without GPS, get a pit pat.

A good idea while it lasted
The idea for the product is a good one and one that I was very keen to use but I never found it to be entirely effective or accurate with location or tracking the movement of my dog. The unit itself was far too big to clip comfortably onto my small dogs collar so I had to clip it to his lead which didn’t properly track his steps.Upon not using this for a while as our dog passed away and going to try it out again on our new rescue Labrador we were excited to hopefully get the best use of this with him being larger and more able to house the collar unit but it doesn’t appear to work anymore nor be available as a product which is an immense disappointment and they appear to have ceased providing the service so I’d imagine there will be a lot of disappointed owners with a now useless item like myself!

Totally useless, as it won't charge up
What a shame. This could have been an OK little gadget, but the wireless charging dock only works very intermittently. On first charge it took two days (not three hours) to charge up and seemed only to be charging intermittently. Once it needed another charge I tried only to find the battery indicator (via the app) going up... down... up again... down. It's been on there for about 72 hours now and it's been at 6%, 9%, 5%, 1%, up to 7%... I've tried plugging the cable into Apple chargers, Belkin chargers, even a laptop, I've tried jiggling it about, turning it over - it makes no difference. The unit won't charge, rendering it unusable.Apart from this major defect, it was kind of promising, though the language in the app could have been better translated, and it was missing key features like top speed and average speed. I would have liked to have been able to explore this more and was looking forward to using it to see where my dog was when she goes out of my sight on walks (she's high prey drive so it would have been useful). Unfortunately, while my husband managed one full walk with it on, I haven't been able to as it won't charge up again. So I haven't been able to see it in use.Wireless charging is a good feature in that it allows for a sealed unit, which is therefore waterproof, but only if it actually works, and this just doesn't. While from the reviews it seems that some people have received working units, frankly I'm really surprised that the manufacturer allowed it onto the market in this wholly unreliable state.
