Much easier to just buy the $3 nail clips and soak cotton ball pieces in acetone & let nails sit. This takes 3xs longer, 1 hand at a time, awkward positioning, have to sit 5 mins (1 hand), scrape off, and repeat minimum 3-5 times PER HAND. Soak, wait, scrape... repeat... repeat... repeat. Very time consuming. Back hurts. So I bought those $3 nail clips (pkg of 10), cut up cotton pieces, soaked them in acetone, clipped on each nail, wait few minutes. 1 by 1 you scrape each nail, then repeat. Takes less time cuz you're doing 10 at once not 5 nails. and you can move your body and hands around instead of 1 cramped non-moving position, attached to this machine. It was truly draining and very exhausting. I do not think there is any difference in the wait time for room temp (clips) or warmer acetone (machine). (plus takes 5 minutes to warm up. If so, heat it a bit in microwave with little bit of cotton and again clip onto nails. There is no reason to spend $40 for this machine that makes you sit cramped in a non-moving situation... waiting... waiting. So awkward and back-breaking and uncomfortable !!!! NO! That said, I am glad to be free of a nail salon ($110 per trip + 2.5 hrs). The clips work on toes as well, this machine will not. So you still need to figure out how to get gel off toes! Thats why I was doing my hands with machine and toes with clips then thought WTH try my hands too. BTW I have the worst case scenario to remove: I don't do gel onmy hands: not only is it SNS dip powder but I always use glitter - very very hard to remove. CLIPS to the rescue. Whew.

Begin soaking your nails as soon as you plug it up. That's when it is the hottest (not burning hot) to me and helps to soak off better. The "S" phase is warm but not as warm. The more heat exposure while soaking your nails the better. Then start using the scraping tool once the light indicator is on the cool down stage, the W. I had acrylic nails with gel polish. I had to repeat the process a couple of times to get it all off. I like it and would recommend it.

Does it remove gel polish..yes...if you have the extentions it takes forever

I have to admit, I was a bit leery of this product when I ordered it. I saw it first on Instagram for $50, but decided to see if I could find any reviews and found this one for $40 and it had 4 reviews; 3 good and 1 not good. I decided to take my chances and order it. It is an AMAZING system 🙌! I was using it to remove the dip powder, which did take a little bit longer than the instructions said it would, but it did the trick!! Don’t expect to put your fingers in for 5-10 minutes and you can just wipe the product off when you bring them out.... but after 3-4 “soaks” my nails were natural again!! (And I didn’t have to go to a salon and pay any amount to have it done!!) Then I had my mom try it, to just remove regular polish; about 3 minutes later, without much wiping, her nails were polish free!! There isn’t much to the instructions, but it’s a pretty simple system to use and I recommend it 100%!!
