I never knew this product existed ~ Now, I can't do without it
I've tried just about everything to make it easier for me to move my dining room chairs. I live in a small apartment that has carpeting in the dining area. Shortly after moving in; I purchased a table and chairs. Trying to move the chairs over the carpeting was extremely difficult, so much so, that I had to keep retightening all of the screws. They would loosen up, as a result of the constant pulling back and forth over the carpet. My next step was to buy a rectangular polycarbonate mat, to place under the table and chairs. Surely, that would solve the problem, or so I thought. When that failed to work; I ended up buying all sorts of items, such as plastic furniture sliders that attach to the legs of the chairs. Nothing worked. Then, by sheer accident; I discovered these leg socks on Amazon. Guess what; they work. Now, I'm finally able to easily move my chairs back and forth. These socks completely eliminate the friction between the chair legs and my polycarbonate mat. This was a fantastic & highly worthwhile purchase.

okay on bar stools
Tried on chairs with slight tapered wood legs and they would slide off as people slid around in their chairs, (laminate wood floor). Put them on our barstools with metal legs with a small rubber band at the base around the existing glides. They seem to be staying well there. This is an American Legion lounge with fairly active evenings.

These are great
Scratching things up is never a good thing. I like these "socks" because they have good protection, and I don't have to mount them via messy adhesives or nails.Keep in mind - you definitely can see them. So if you are looking for something invisible, these are not for you. However, if you are just looking for a low-maintenance, easy-to-use way of protecting your floors, (or other things) I would highly recommend these.

At Least They Don't Fall Off!
I turned to chair socks out of desperation after repeatedly trying to stick felt furniture pads onto chairs and keep them on with every kind of heavy-duty adhesive tape known to man. They always fell off when the chairs were being used, putting my wood floors at risk of damage. The best part about the chair socks is they actually stay on! Even if they slip slightly, the bottom of the chair leg is still covered, so the floor is still protected.

They work for me!
Was so tired of those peel 'em round, sticky thingamabobs that never stayed on the chair legs. These 'socks' which I got in black to match my din. rm. table and chair legs has been working out great for me. Haven't had to 'pull them up' yet, and they're washable. Love them! A more colorful sock would be fun too, but I haven't seen that yet. Just sayin'.

They move all the time
If you move the chair they remove themselves all the time. But they are very smooth and protect the hardwood floor from scratches.

EXCELLENT CHAIR SOCKS!
My old chair socks had finally worn out, so I took a chance on these. Not only do they blend well with my black chairs that are in the kitchen on a concrete floor, they fit very well and the chairs glide easily. I only needed these for 4 chairs, but the quantity allowed me to put aside the "extras" for when I will need them in another couple of years.

Finally an answer to the scraping chair question!
These little chair socks are fantastic. They hug the legs of our barstools perfectly. The thickness of the material is great, too, it doesn't feel like they are going to wear through anytime soon. They slide on our hardwood floors very well. We highly recommend these!!
