Brugo Holiday Travel Mug (Purple)

I originally bought this first generation Brugo, because the built-in temperature control feature attracted me, and from the first use, using the temp control setting, I thought this was the greatest cup EVER. (I was wrong.) I loved being able to take sips of my scalding hot coffee right away, but then it came time to switch to regular sipping, and that's when the trouble started. At the threads, right in front of the sipping hole, it was dribbling through the threads. Nothing I could do could fix this, but I still wanted that temperature control feature, so I ordered the second generation, which is "guaranteed leak proof", and indeed, it was leak proof...to a point. If completely closed, I could have tossed it upside-down into my bag, and it wouldn't have spilled. Great, but once I switched from temp control to regular sipping, the SAME leaking situation occurred. Will I buy a third generation Burgo? Fool me once, fool me twice... No. I don't believe they properly test their products before unleashing them on the market. Great idea. VERY poor execution of said idea. Ohm, and I forgot to mention, double walled plastic doesn't keep beverages hot, nor can you sip from this cup with the lid off.

This mug looks great, but there are two problems: 1. It leaks. 2. It doesn't hold heat well. Not worth the money.
