This is a great throw that is so versatile due to the 9 heat settings. It heats up quickly and is a great size to cover you nicely. I really can't praise this highly enough and have recommended it to several friends. I am actually disabled and so feel the cold and this has been invaluable to me. Amazon also have this at a great price.

Had this for a while. Brilliantly useful. Mainly got for 93 year old. Great for over her knee when sitting room fire not on yet and oil heating not on long enough to sufficiently heat house.also use in bed to heat bed prior to her getting on. She turns off herself by switch on back of hand set. Couldn’t be happier. Was going to buy second one today and see unavailable, sad face

This is lovely. It does not need to be on the hottest heats to keep you warm. It is very snug and cosy and economical to run - you can turn your central heating down a bit and still be nice and warm. The size is just right too, any bigger and it would be too bulky. Yes, just right.

As a cold snap had started, I couldn't wait for this to arrive.As always, it was delivered promptly and that evening I tried it out.What a disappointment! It hardly got past tepid....let alone warm.I tried everything. Re-read the instructions, all to no availI even asked a friend to try it, just in case I'd done some thing wrong.Still nothing.Perhaps I was just unlucky & got a dude throw. Needless to say it's gone back.This is the first item I've sent back to Amazon, but they make it very easy to do,and I have been given a full refund.I've now opted for 2 hot water bottles......Old fashioned, yes, but they work beautifully.My advice, going by the other reviews, is to try it. But buy via Amazon, as that meansif it's a dude, like mine was, you know Amazon will refund in full.

thought it would be larger than it was

I bought this as a replacement for a Relaxwell throw I had had for a few years and loved. The old one was a much heavier weight fleece, and a good size. Unfortunately, and I realise this was me buying in haste and not reading the description as carefully as I should have, I believed I was buying the same size again, as the product packaging and description is virtually identical to my old one and I was unaware that Relaxwell made different sizes. As a result I was pretty disappointed on finding that this throw is tiny ( the size of a bath towel) and therefore not big enough to tuck in around me or cover me from chest to toe, leaving gaps for the cold air to get in no matter how I try to use it. Previous buyeres of Relaxwell throws beware...the fleece is a very much lighter weight fleece than the previous version, making it less suited as a cosy throw without the heating switched on.I have given it three stars as it is okay...better than nothing on a cold day, but really is too small to be much good, and would leave most people, including this petite adult, wishing for something bigger. As that option is available, buy the bigger option, as from experience, I know how great a large heated throw is, and Dreamland customer service is good when things go wrong within the guarantee period of two years.

I love this rug, it heats up quickly, warms up shoulders really well, I wouldn't want this to be any longer because it wouldn't sit round shoulders as well as it does. The temperature adjustment means you can maintain a gentle warmth.No stiff shoulders or cold neck anymore.

Having turned the heating down this winter, because of fuel cost. I was feel chilly in the evenings. This was a good buy, to put over my knees and keep me cosy. It could have done with being a tad larger...But hey, it keeps me warm.
