Milk Frother by EZY CHEF - Stainless Steel, Dual Speed Milk Frother

Exceeded my expectations of how powerful it would be based on my previous use of a 2 x AAA battery operated frother. EZY Chef is almost too powerful on the higher RPM setting (first one out from off). Can't say enough good things about how well it works for me. Is heavier than the 2 x AAA so you need a good grip on it. But not too heavy that it tires your holding hand. Two major improvements that should be made to the packaging: Add photo showing orientation of the batteries. No instructional sheet enclosed. Consult the illustrations on the Amazon webpage for the correct orientation of the batteries. Secondly, show how the lid to the battery compartment comes off (slides off) so someone doesn't erroneously rip it off when trying to lift it off. And then show how to depress the batteries so that the lide will slide on: first battery can be pushed down with finger while sliding the lid on. Second battery needs to be depressed using some thin tool until the lid begins to cover that 2nd battery. These foregoing illustrations would be far better than the repetitive selling photos and texts on the existing package. I'm sure that most of these units are sold online rather than in stores where the sales photos and texts would make sense.

This frother is about as easy to use as you can get with a battery operated tool. For ease of use I would give it a 5 stars; but because I was able to produce some froth only and not a lot of it with this tool I gave it 3 stars instead. With further use if the tool can produce better froth, then I would upgrade it 1 more star.

It works pretty amazing with milk but not working at all with Silk milk which has no fat in it. I believe it's the saturated fat that makes it foamy. The inside edge of the switch is not smooth...my only complaint. Overall, it works. I made myself and my husband a very professional looking cup of latte this morning, YEAH :)

Love the frother! Mine broke on my coffee pot/cappuccino maker and I didn't want to buy a new machine just for the frother. It makes foam in seconds. I took the advice of using 2% milk, I plan to try it with half & half though since I try to avoid the carbs. The only thing I found a little strange was no instructions inside the box. Not that it's difficult to figure out , but I was somewhat confused on how to take the base out to insert the batteries with only one arrow on the plastic of the base. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to twist, push, pull, etc...you slide it out FYI. Also there are no instruction on how to clean it or if it comes apart. Again, not rocket science but some instruction would be good to have. All in all, the device seems durable enough and does what it says it will.

*Follow up review*I bought this thing on Jan. 30. Not even two months later it broke. The stick part that whips snapped off at the base (see photo). I hadn't used it any differently than before. Just whipping my milk. Previously I bought the $2 Ikea ones, which still work 2 years later. Save you money and don't buy this product. I wish I would've saved my receipt for a refund.I love frothing my warm milk and coconut sugar together before adding my coffee. I've purchased several frothers previously and this one is by far the best. It takes two AA batteries and has two settings and whips my milk up to 3x the amount. Both settings are far more powerful than any frother I've gotten in the past. It also is much weightier, which makes it feel as if it well built.

I really never write reviews but just had to for this handy little device! I'm so hooked on Lattes now, but they're way too expensive for me. I still have an occasional one though. This quality made frother is sooooo unbelievably easy to use and makes the best Crema around! I have to get the ingredients and method down right: I make the Crema, YUM, then add the coffee to that and honestly, it tastes as good as the Lattes I buy at the drive through! You should try it. Especially at that price. I checked out all the latte machines, but way too expensive and the less expensive ones, just made drip coffee...which I use anyway but at least I can switch it up and use espresso whenever. You won't be sorry and they have a great return policy.

Looking to replace our old, inexpensive, plastic bottomed Bodum frother, we decided to take the plunge and spend a little bit more on this stainless steel model by Ezy Chef. It arrived promptly and well-packaged. There are no instructions with it (we would've liked to see a diagram of how to open the battery chamber, and also there are no positive/negative battery markings, so placement of such requires a bit of sleuthing) but we figured things out. We did have an issue arise with the performance of our new frother...to which the seller (Peshantis) quickly addressed and went beyond our expectations to make right. Wow! If customer service is any indication of our long-term satisfaction with this frother...well, all we can say is, there are sure to be many happy starts to our cappuccino-filled mornings!

I sent this to my Granddaughter in another state. It arrived as stated. But she said one thing it had no instructions or paperwork. She said it started out pretty good then just went off so fast it threw warm milk all over the counter. Her husband tried it and same thing. So I would not recommend this to anyone. lucky for me that Amazon is such a great company to deal with. I was able to send her the return label so she could send it back for me. One never knows.
