Size Large Robert Sorby #9011L Woodturners Smock

The zipper aside from zipping from the wrong side is cheesy for the price of this smock.

I like the durability and fit of the jacket. I only gave it 4 stars because the zipper pull is on the left side, not the right. So either I received a woman's jacket or they just do them different in the UK.

This smock does the job, and keeps the sawdust from your lathe off of your clothes, your arms, and sawdust doesn’t go down your neck. Cleaning yourself up before coming back inside takes significantly less time than before. I just have two things they would do to improve on this: (1) make it a little more lightweight for the hot summertime, and (b) have a right-hand zipper for USA patrons vs. the other way for the UK. If those are my only complaints, things are going well. If you are a woodturner, I would highly recommend getting one of these.

I use for lathing wood. Zips high around neck so nothing down the neck, drops below my waist so nothing gets in my pants, light so minimal heat retention but in warm environment it does get hot, cuffs fit snugly and the dust just blows or vacuums off. I really like this cover and wear every time I lath. I don't like getting dirty.

Better than a loose fitting flannel shirt in the shop. Elastic wrists keep arms clean of wood chips. Light enough to avoid over heating while working. Soft neck line. I like this much better than the heavy duty one I originally purchased from the 'tool post'.

The jacket covers from the neck down over the wrists---just what it is supposed to do. I recommend it.

My husband was very happy with this product. He has worn it several times while working in his woodshop and said it really fit the bill.

Left handed zipper was odd for my husband. Loose threads that could have been cleaned up..otherwise ok
