Stunning mini library!
I just recently bought a house and had nowhere to keep my books. In our loft, we had a storage closet that is perfect for my mini-library.Not being able to find bookshelves that would fit in an unconventional area, I decided to buy these, but I wanted them to be floor to ceiling so I bought 3 kits. The only issue I had were the screws provided were not long enough. We also decided to install them on 1x4’s screwed into the walls, but that was just for more stability since books are heavier than knickknacks. The pipes themselves are all a nice matte black, they were easy to put together, and definitely worth the price I paid. The wood ended up being an extra $100 but that was for 7 boards at 5’10” each.Would definitely buy these again! So happy with how it turned out!!

Very pleased....
Love how these shelves turned out in my new apartment. I had no idea, design wise, what I wanted to do with these at first. I initially purchased one set for my bathroom but after looking through more reviews and pictures I decided that they would be a better fit in my living room. So I ordered another set and proceeded to create my masterpiece.Love the fact that you can put sets of these together to make one larger shelving unit. I had the bright idea to buy two 2x12x12 to run along the top and bottom and four 2x12x3. While driving home with lumber strapped to my compact SUV wasn’t ideal, I’m excited to get these babies sanded down and pick out a stain. As for assembly, I put each of the pieces together disregarding the alignment at first. Then, once everything is connected, lay the whole thing down on carpet or a rug, and crank down on each connection until everything is nice and tight. Hanging these up by yourself is hardly easy but doable. It would have been nice to have someone who could hold them against the wall while I worked. I also took the advice of other reviewers and bought my own anchors and screws. With the anchors and 2in thick shelves, this thing is SOLID, and I love the way it looks. I’m planning on a tv going up in the center to finish it off. Very happy with these.

Cheap and kinda easy. Best bang for your buck, for sure.
This is four sets of these shelves. I mixed them around a bit and made my own configuration that fit my workout room/office. Great space saver to put everything on the walls vs the massive desk and bookshelves I had. I used a lot of 3/4 pvc elbows. They have the exact same thread as the pipe and are much cheaper. Just spray painted them black. This has given me so many more ideas of things I can do. Look out house. I see a lot of pipe in your future. If you’re going to get creative and use 3/4 pvc elbows to sub for parts you don’t have then you’ll want to cut down some because the pieces are super long and make it unsquare. Just cuts with the regular circular saw that you’re cutting your wood shelves with. SAFETY DISCLAIMER: Be careful to not cut your fingers off. You have to hold it close to the blade. Pictures added for comparison of what’s included, what I bought, and how I cut it down. Still have two horizontal shelves to mount on the tv wall to match the desk wall. I used 1x4 painted to match the wall, that I mounted level into studs and then mounted my pipe flanges to that instead of trying to find studs or use any wall anchors. You can see those in the Last couple pictures. Far more sturdy and much faster than wall anchors. Good luck.

Came together well.
This came together well. I screwed it to studs in my wall instead of using wall anchors and did hit a problem where a stud had been split by a previous owner that required some shoring up, but other than that it installed cleanly and evenly. I hit the top and bottom screw of every flange onto a stud and I put the left and right ones on wall anchors.I did have to skip one screw because I knew there was an electrical wire right behind it in the wall, but I don't think it'll matter.I combined two of these units to make a unit that's three racks, two are holding six boards, one is holding three. The top three extend across the room, the bottom shelves have a side missing so I can fit an appliance there.I have enough left over to make two more shelves to hang elsewhere in the room.

Great quality.
Okay so what I decided to do was leave a space in the middle for my animal food storage. I will say work from the bottom up. Make sure to have a 3ft level handy. It will really help you. Now not every bar will be super tight but in the end they will all become tight. I messed up and put the longer bar in the middle instead of on the top of each section so what I had to do in order to fix it was go down to a scrap metal place and take the long bars and have them thread them down into the smaller ones with new threading done. so it was able to work out for the top. That may not make any sense but it worked out. I prefer the extra room in between the shelving. They look nice. I bought the boards from Lowe’s and had them cut down to size. They were already painted. I also would buy better screws and I put at least two screws into studs instead of using anchors which have seemed to work perfectly! I took me and some help from my mom about 4 hours to put up. I did 2 sets

Nice for the Price
We bought this to build a pantry shelf. It was a little difficult to assemble; we did it BEFORE we installed it which made it tons easier. My son is anal about this stuff, so each set of holes on the flanges had to be at exactly the same place, so it probably was more difficult than it should be. We set the feet on a bench he built, so it's very stable, but if I were attaching the "feet" flanges to the ceiling, I would be a little concerned. As most have said, discard their little mollies and screws. We got ours into studs on one side and use zip drywall anchors on the other side. It's not as heavy and sturdy as plumbing pipe, but it's also half the price, so it was a good deal.

Perfect shelf for pantry!
I absolutely love this shelf! Hubby felt it was pretty easy to put together, love the flexibility of choosing the width and getting our own boards. We stained them with mahogany red stain and it looks gorgeous! Since we do not have a pantry in our home, I wanted to create one in the extra space we had in the laundry room. This one was perfect and fit so awesome with our “farmhouse” decor. We didn’t even need to screw in the bottom. It’d extremely sturdy on all sides without mounting into the floor!

What can ya say; its pipe, it screw's together.
What can ya say; its pipe, it screw's together.I picked this up for shelving in my basement bathroom.I used rough red cedar fence plank for the shelvesworks great. I used blue locktight once i got the pipes facing the way i wanted. Blue, so that I can disassemble later if need be.Prolight material, which does not add a lot of extra stress on the hanging pointsthe flanges offer a lot of attachment points to ensure what you put up their stays up thereeasy to assembleConlight material. if you are expecting iron, this inst it.if you are attaching to drywall\stud like me, go to the hardware store and get some good screws and anchors. the ones that come with are shyt.
