Phancy Soda Chanh, Vietnamese Sparkling Limeade, 16 Ounce (Pack of 12)

(NB: I am for years quite used to getting addictively awesome iced coffee and banh-mi when up Boston-way or Providence, but Chanh Muối is somehow an entirely new thing to me.)what I do know is, that I was blown away that I can scarcely tell this from an entirely fresh product.sure, I'll admit to buying the little plastic green lime squirt bottle things, or sometimes the pricier key lime fancy name brand. but mix those with seltzer water and you can *always* tell by the taste that it's not the real thing.but this? if I did not know any better, I would nearly swear that I just cut and juiced a fresh lime in my kitchen.other reviewers have said that this is not too sweet, and that this is not too carbonated. I very much enjoy that it is not too sweet; I would not mind if it was a little more carbonated.I really enjoy brands like Switch and IZZE, but honestly this one really turns my head around.

When I took my first sip, this was a bit more tart then I expected. Please consider that 1) I've never had Vietnamese limeaide and 2) I'm used to products like let's say Newman's Own and other half gallon containers of Limeaide in the juice section of a store.But, although maybe not enough to warrant 5 stars for my own personal tastes, the flavor does grow on me, to where after the third or fourth sip I'm not missing the extra sugar that would be in a product that I normally drink.Carbonation is quite light, but not quite so light that I assumed this product went "flat". I was also expecting it to not be all that carbonated.Would I buy it again? Generally speaking I'd probably keep to what I'd normally get, but once in a while I think I will buy this instead.For those that do find limeaide in the grocery store section a bit too sweet, this product is probably a five star one for you.

I'm really glad this product is available on the market for those of us who don't have Vietnamese restaurants nearby.If I hadn't expected the specific zest and cold crispness of a freshly made soda chanh I probably would have liked the Phancy product better.As it is, had I not known what I was drinking and had a blind taste test I would never have said I was drinking soda chanh. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have even guessed limeade. There simple isn't enough of the actual lime taste coming through in this beverage.I like that it is lightly sweetened and lightly carbonated. Just wish it wasn't lightly limed!Using the remainder of my 12 pack mixed with fresh lime juice but won't order this again.

This is a quality product. It is a real joy to be able to read and understand every ingredient listed on the can. As others have stated, it is lightly carbonated and not very sweet. There is just enough sugar to cut any sourness in the lime. This drink goes down smooth with little or no after taste. The only thing I don't like is that it leaves my mouth feeling slightly dry afterword, not unlike Fresca. I think it would be better with a hint a of ginger, but what do I know?

Its like what Sprite wants to be. Really crisp, refreshing taste of fresh lime. Doesnt coat my teeth with sugar like a regular soda. It also doesnt leave that heavy, syrupy feeling in the stomach. It almost tastes like a frshly made drink.

Good bussiness n nice products. Not so good abt protection,maybe because of amazon prime not wrap it good.

Yum, this Vietnamese sparkling limeade is refreshing. It's more satisfying than other sodas. I like that it's made with real lime juice, is caffeine-free, and has no preservatives or artificial flavors. It's my new favorite carbonated beverage. And, it's made it the USA!

Wifey loves this stuff. Tastes better than what she gets at the Vietnamese restaurants. We have this sent to us monthly.
