Don't know how it is, but sometimes people with reduced mobility find an 8-oz bottle of water much easier to manage than larger ones. And the size is perfect for adding a single packet's worth of DripDrop (if you don't know this, please seach for it -- amazing powdered drink which makes a delicious juice-like substance that's also medically equivalent to the same amount of a hospital IV for fighting dehydration!). It's also easier to drink an 8-oz bottle than a larger one, which somehow makes it less intimidating and more welcome to a handicapped user in need of fluid.
