Sturdier than the company makes it out to be
Having looked at various reviews of a number of tricycles I settled on this one and haven't been disappointed. It is adaptable for a variety of ages. It gives you the ability to take control of the steering or give it back to your child at any time, which is great when they are tired. It is very sturdy and can even sorry my 6 year old daughter who often shares this with her brother (the owner). My son loves this tricycle and it is very adaptable and sturdy. The main thing I like is its versatility in removing the parts to transfer control from patent to child without compromising the solidity or integrity of the bike.

Great bike
Made a couple errors when assembling and although they were easy to rectify, I had to find a video on YouTube as the instructions don’t help with dismantling.Great bike when assembled though.

My daughter loves it!
An easy item to set up. Very practical. My daughter loves it and can't wait until its just a bike. The only downside to is that although the control stick at the back is strong enough to push about, you're unable to actually manoeuvre/control the wheels or help my daughter steer - you have to lift the bike up with the control stick to turn the bike.

Disappointed
Only on the second outing, the brake locked on and I had to tie the dog to a fence and ask someone to hold my child whilst I had to put the trike on its side to release the brake. Same happened again on third outing so I’ve had to return it.

Be careful....
Bought this for my granddaughter and built it using the instructions / video and all seemed fine. Second outing was fine for about a hour until we crossed a road and lifted the front wheel slightly to access a kerb. At this point the front wheel dropped out! Not good! In my haste to get it back together asap i inadvertently misaligned the wheel and damaged the wheel cover / mudflap.Good job we still had the box as that's where it ended up to be returned.

Not worth the money
Not worth the money too expensive other sites has it cheaper there is no break so you will have to constantly be with the smartrik. It would of been worth it if they had invented a break where you can take it off and put it back on again for parents control.
