Solved my low voltage issues
I have a 1970 Oldsmobile with a Holley Sniper, electric fuel pump, dual electric fans, and a high power stereo system by Polk. With everything running, including the A/C, I was under 12Volts at idle or cruise! I kept running my battery down. I tried throwing every SI type alternator I could find at it, more amps more amps and more amps. I was up to 120AMP Si alternator. Nothing was solving the problem of no volts at Idle. This has solved that problem. And this is WHY they came up with the CS series alternators in the 1980s. When you have all those electronics and a low revving alternator, you need volts, not just Amps. The CS alternator puts out Volts at low RPM and I didn't need ALL those amps.

Excellent Installed on 69 Dodge Truck!!!
Upgraded to internal regulator and Higher amp!!! Had to put upside down and make bracket drill some new holes. Did not have to change the original bracket!!! Some Engineering and working perfectly!!! Upgraded all wire to new bigger for the added amps. Thanks!!!

Great replacement alternator at a great price.

Alternator upgrade for classic car with V-belt drive.
Used this alternator as a modern retrofit for a classic car using a Pico 5622PT alternator plug/harness and a combination of the original and universal mounting hardware. Needed the additional capacity to support a fuel injection conversion with a high pressure electric fuel pump, electric fans, stereo, and other road trip necessities. No problems with this alternator.

Faulty device!!
Hello all Having a huge problem with this item. It was bought NEW on Amazon in 2015 and has been in its original packaging in its original box in my garage cupboard since I only needed it now. Alternator is getting so hot you cannot touch it and the auto electrician says a faulty regulator or winding. Honestly I did not expect this from Delco. And here I am sitting in Perth Australia. So it seems that savings made by purchasing on Amazon are now going to be thrown into the wind. Very disappointed!!! The only reason for one star is because the postage service was excellent, otherwise I would give ZERO.

Perfect.
I get 13.7 V at idle with the electric fans running. Old 10si could not keep up. Make sure to do the wire upgrades to handle the extra power if you are retrofitting an older vehicle.
