EGMONT HONEY Manuka Honey MGO 515+ UMF 15+ – NON-GMO, Kosher, Recycled plastic jar, Traceable 100% Pure Authentic New Zealand Honey 8.8oz (250g)

I've used this manuka honey brand before, and didn't encounter any problems. I received the jar in perfect condition, with the seal intact. I bought this brand one time before, but it had lower umf and mgo scores. It alleviated my girlfriend's gastritis with just occasional use. This time we'll follow a strict regimen and feel that we're going to have much better results. Anyway this honey is of high quality and delicious. And is a few dollars less expensive.

Works great for stomach issues and can be used on cuts and burns as a natural ointment.

All I can say is W-O-W. I don't normally rate products that I buy, but I felt compelled after how well this stuff worked for my 17 year old pug. NOTE: if your dog has diabetes, consult with your vet before trying this honey. I am a scientist, and did some research in the peer-reviewed literature for a natural supplement that could help support healing my dog's stomach ulcer (in addition to the meds that the vet gave us). I found some literature on high UMF rated manuka that was used to successfully treat wounds in horses so thought I'd give it a try. Found this brand in an Amazon search (reasonable cost & high ratings). The vet's meds seemed to help him, but after he was done with them, he was still doing a weird stomach stretch and waking up in the middle of the night crying because he was uncomfortable. After about 2 weeks of using this manuka, he stopped doing that stretch and stopped waking up in pain in the middle of the night. A job well-done. The craziest part that compelled me to write this review is that he has historically had a topical staph infection on his skin that wouldn't go away because he is in diapers when indoors (staph + moisture + weak immune system = bad). After about a month of ingesting this stuff (1 tsp in his food - 2x/day), his staph infection is COMPLETELY GONE, and his fur is the softest it's ever been. I really wish I would've taken before/after pics but I had no idea that this stuff would fix his weak immune system/staph issue. I am keeping him on this for the rest of his life! This helps w/ a skin issue & seems to help w/ gut issues as well, so I take a 1/2 tsp per day of this Egmont 515 MGO honey. I've tried other brands, but for me, this is the best combo of quality & price. *I'm a senior on fixed income, so I can't always afford to have it in the cupboard, but it seems to help & it tastes great **Don't put it in hot tea, etc. though, as I've read that heat kills all the good stuff in Manuka honey; instead, use grocery store honey to flavor your tea.

I ordered up something sweet for my honey on Valentines. The tiny bottle came with no less than FOUR warehouse labels. The adhesive is so strong that trying to remove the uglies trashed the original label. C'mon Amazon! This stuff is precious and unique. Why screw it up?

Very thick, but has a good taste.

This Manuka honey has a richer flavor and a darker color than regular honey. Plus, all the natural healing benefits with a smooth texture. I am a big fan of adding it to my toast in the morning.
