I've been looking for a set of whiskey stones for a while (I've been using cheap plastic ice cubes up until now) and finally settled on these because of the presentation. Man, was I not disappointed! The stones, bag, and tongs all come together in a VERY nice wooden box that props itself open for a neat display. The stones themselves are a dark grey with a bit of a blue tinge and light grey flecks. They're heavy, as expected of granite, so you know it's not a knockoff. The felt bag included is a nice touch and looks great in my freezer. Looks better than any ice tray, that's for sure. The tongs are a thin metal, but they do what they need to do. They stay cold more than long enough to sip on a glass of whiskey and of course don't water it down as regular ice would.Now I just need to figure what else I can put in the wooden box. It'd be a shame not to re-use it!

It was the perfect Father’s Day gift!My dad loved it, and to add perfection to it our last name begins with the letter P and the bag has the letter printed on the front it gave a personalized feeling. The box seems to be in great quality. They are packaged with cared and well done.

I got this as a gift my husband says he used 6 of them and they warmed up with the Scotch and did not do any cooling at all. The set itself is very nice but unless you plan on using about 1 shot they warm up really fast.

Bought these as a gift for my husband. They met my expectations, he likes them, and they come packaged nicely for gifting (you wont need to keep the box, but it was nice for presentation anyway). The storage bag is nice for holding them in the freezer.

I was looking for something to get for the man who has everything when I came across this very unusual and interesting gift item. I have never seen anything like this before, but I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging and the extra bonus of the coaster set. The stones are really beautiful, as well as being functional. They actually do work as described...cool the drink without watering it down. Its a great conversation piece!

These stones are supposed to replace ice. I used five stones in one small glass and filled the bourbon barely over the top. They just barely cool the whiskey and lost all sense of being cold within 20 minutes. Not happy with this product. Perhaps it is the size of the stone? I don’t know but I’m not happy with the performance of this product
