SAP Material Master: A Practical Guide Paperback – Illustrated, November 29, 2013

Very handy guide for all the MM fields and their purposes. Useful information regarding organizational setups as well. I keep this guide with me at all times for when questions about a field's usage arise. It does not go into the deep details regaridng the technical configurations behind some of the LOV values as this is geared towards the Business. It helps you understand the dependencies of fields to one another. 4 stars because it quits before getting very deep into the details. However, I definitely recommend this book for a Business user.

Very good introductory book on Material Master in SAP. As a beginner in SAP, I found many clarifications and answers in this book.I removed one star because although most fields are clearly defined, for some of them it is difficult to understand the behavior. If a new version of this book was to be done, I am sure it would reach 5 stars.

The author is very knowledgeable about SAP from a practical point of view. I use SAP in a pharmaceutical setting, specifically the manufacture of drugs.

This book is fantastic!!!!! I have been in manufacturing for 15 years and I have been working with SAP for 10 years. I have worked with several SAP Consultants, but none of them come close to the information presented in this publication. The way Johnson disseminates the information is terrific. I consider this an excellent book to learn about SAP material master. I have learnt a lot with this book. I think is a good investment.
