Excellent price for LED MR16 bulbs!
In my search to replace my 20w halogen bulbs with LEDs I ran across these MR16 bulbs at a great price! I had looked at the big box stores and most of the MR16 LED replacements were in the $10 range and I have 20 landscape lights! This was going to be an expensive endeavor (or so I thought). I ordered a 10 pack of these bulbs with low expectation that they would work or even be what I was looking for. When I received them I replaced the front 1/2 of my home and turned them on to see how they would look. I was shocked to see such a wonderful bright clean white light coming out of them and I was excited to see them on at night. We had an event and knew I wouldn't get home until well after dark so I was excited to see how the house looked! It was amazing! The lights are bright and completely flood the area with light both on the house and trees! Amazing lights for the price!PROS:Cost - very inexpensive at the time I purchased (about $2.50 per light).Quality - the lights seem to be well put together and the MR16 pins fit perfectly into the base.Color - bright white! No yellow tent or bluish blur.Package - packed 10 in a box each wrapped (all of my lights worked, no damage)CONS:Size - they are a bit longer from the pins to the tip so it was a tight fit if you put them in a watertight fixtureAgain, for the price you cannot do any better! I'm ordering more to finish another project and I really hope that these lights remain on Amazon in the future. I'd even pay more for them to be honest! IMHO you cannot go wrong if you are looking to convert your MR16s over to LEDs.

They just don't last!!!!!!
They look nice installed, they use almost no power, they just don't last. I use my lights from dusk to 12am so say an average of 5 hours a day. I constantly have to replace these LED bulbs way more often than the incandescent ones I had. Here this should give you an idea I have exactly 11 outside lights so in March of 2016 I purchased 2 of the 10 packs. I had figured LED will last a long long time so I did not need 9 spare but the price was good. Well I soon discovered I would need spares and many within a few months. By Feb of 2017 I was out of the spares and I had to purchased a 3rd 10 pack. Here we are Jan of 2018 and I have put the last of the 3rd 10 pack in to replace burned out bulbs. I really think that LED should at the very least last as long as the incandescent. The old incandescent bulbs said life 2500 hours, that is about 1.5 years and yes I was replacing the incandescent bulbs about every 1.5 years. These LED bulbs seem to average about 5-7 months tops so they are lasting less than half as long as the incandescent. I have top quality fixtures with rubber o rings for the seals so no water is getting in so this is truly just the LED bulb failing way to soon. Granted these cost less then the name brands but that seems to be evident in how long they last. I had high hopes for these but seems when a few of these go I am just going to spend a little bit more and buy a name brand that will last longer. My mother always told me you get what you pay for when it comes to these LED bulbs she was surly correct. As an update to this review I took the time to read all the positive and negative reviews, so before you buy these check out the pattern. Most all the positive reviews are initial reviews right after installation (and I agree they look great and initially are impressive with less power drain). You will notice that the negative reviews are all centered around the same topic and are written like mien later down the line. The topic of most all the negative reviews is the bulbs just don't last.I am not making this up just read the reviews and you will see people that just installed them are happy and people that have had them all say they just don't last. There are even a few positive reviews with updates that say (drum roll) they don't seem to be lasting long...

Good value
We have been using these lights in a low voltage landscape lighting application (dusk to dawn) for around 4 months. No problems so far. They are as expected, which is close to that bluish light that some people do not like, which we do like, which is as described with the range on the product (6000k). They put off comparable if not slightly more light than our previous halogens (which I think were 50w). Their light beam/pattern does not diffuse as much as the halogens, but these are described as "spot" so I can't complain that they are spot lights. Going to these lower powered LED has allowed us to put more landscape lighting in and not overload our transformers. Depending on the longevity (which has a lot of factors), these seem to be a great value. My only critique would be the housing for the bulbs is a little cheap (on one the top ring kept coming off due to the 2 tiny rows of threading being slightly off), but I managed to get it to stay.UPDATE 08.17 - had one bulb go bad, but the fixture is also causing problems, only reason I'm updating is upon inspecting the bulb the wiring connecting the chip to bulb and fixture is very thin and weak. Opinion still the same, good value.UPDATE 01.18 - some bulb failures and partial failures (2 of the 4 led failed etc). Can't really complain consider the usage... Still good value.

Let them breathe.....
*******Update***********I had originally given these two stars, because a couple of the bulbs were flashing on and off. I am sure they were overheating. However, one of the three I installed was not. I assumed the two flashing bulbs were just bad, so I went to replace them and found that the fixture they were in had a glass (lens). I remembered that when I replace all three earlier, one of the lenses was missing, this is the bulb that is working correctly. So I removed the other two lenses and installed the bulbs in the fixtures. Since I have removed the lens from the fixture, the bulbs seem to be fine. It seems the extra piece of glass was causing the lights to overheat. Something to keep in mind if you have enclosed fixtures.....Original post: Well, I installed three of these a week ago. Two of them will stay on for a few minutes, then go off for a few seconds. This is continuous. The third seems to be working. I will replace one of the blinking lights and see if it continues. So far....not great.
