I have used them for Reverse Osmosis filter housing. They work as expected. Make sure to apply several turns of Teflon tape to the threads before screwing them into place to prevent leaks.

RO tubing has a large bend radius and if you try to make a smaller bend it will kink. These fittings make it easy for tight bends.

These were purchased when I replaced the small filtered water faucet on our kitchen sink. The new faucet used a 1/4" tube instead of the 3/8" that was there. Rathern than splice in a short section of the smaller tube and have two additional joints that might leak or fail, I opted to replace that entire section of tubing. These fittings installed right in place of the old, and aside from needing a couple extra turns of pipe tape to keep from seeping, they installed easily. The only thing I noticed is the body of the elbow portion is rather thin, and I wonder about when it comes time to remove it if it will be too brittle and simply snap off or not. Other than that, it works nicely.

Just as described and fits perfectly in my reverse osmosis system. The main reason why I ordered it was because I needed a replacement as the ones I had started to leak.

Works great and no leaks.

If using outdoors they get britle very quickly, crack, leak fall apart in less than 2 weeks.
