Deborah Lippmann2 Second Nail Primer .5 Oz

I purchased a few of Debora's colors before grabbing this one. This primer literally dries in 2 seconds. And does a great job of prepping the nails for a base coat. With most other nail polishes it does smell terrible ( it comes with a dropper as a second option which is my favorite )

I don't know why this is labeled as cuticle oil but it is not and its not returnable. It has NO OIL in it! It's main ingredient is alcohol! Not happy.

I start with this - good to use with the other products...

I notice a big difference in the way my polish wears when I use this compared to when I don't. This product makes my polish stick and last at least 7 days without chips or tip wear. Don't forget to brush it on the leading edge/tip of your nail.

Not cuticular oil it’s nail drying oil! False advertising!

I have been using this product for a few months and while I haven't noticed my manicure lasting longer, I know that it is good to remove excess oil from nail. I have had a terrible time with my nails peeling. I've researched and read a ton of blogs regarding this. I take oil supplements and biotin daily. I nourish my nails and cuticles with Vitamin E oil. The peeling has not improved at all; possibly even worse. Today after reading over and over that this means my nails are too dry, it occurred to me that this primer (#1 ingredient is alcohol) is probably the culprit. I have discontinued use.

I've only recently begun doing my nails after many years of just keeping them short and clean. I hoped that this primer would help the polish adhere better and last longer, but I haven't noticed much of a difference.

wasn't a very good primer - didn't dry the nail bed properly for the DL base coat to be applied and stay on. I had chipping and peeling within a couple of days of applications with this non-UV gel system

the lippman nail products are excellent
